Stephanie Pratt’s recent arrest for suspicion of DUI may have finally scared the troubled Hills star straight. Just hours after Stephanie was released on bail on October 18, she confided to a pal that she was going to rehab. “Stephanie is going to enroll in an outpatient program in LA to deal with her use of alcohol,” her pal explains. “Getting a DUI was the wake-up call that she needed to get professional help for her drinking problem. Like a lot of people, she needed something to shake her up. She realizes it could have been a lot worse.” Stephanie, 23, was at Holly Montag’s birthday party with Hills co-star Stacie Hall just before her DUI arrest.

The Hills star Stephanie Pratt has been arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence.

Spencer Pratt’s sister was arrested around 3.45am on Sunday morning in Hollywood outside LA nightclub, Empire.

Pratt was reportedly celebrating Holly Montag’s 26th birthday along with some fellow Hills stars before the incident took place.

Before heading onto the club, Pratt tweeted: “It’s my sissy @hollymontags bday party! Just finished dinner and going to Empire but I’m pretty tired aka yes i am the party pooper ”

The 23-year old was then taken into custody, with her bail set at around $5,000.

According to a spokesperson from the Van Nuys Division where Pratt was being held, Stephanie was later released on Sunday morning and is due to return for a court hearing.

Sergeant Mark Cohan of the Los Angeles Police Department stated that the circumstances of her arrest were not yet known and he could not reveal whether Pratt was pulled over for another violation or if the stop was DUI-related.

Stephanie has previously been arrested in May 2006 for second-degree theft and drug violations. She also struggles with bulimia as well as previously battling with substance abuse.

Fake couple Kristen Cavallari and Justin Bobby film a fake scene for the fake MTV series The Hills.  The couple is SO fake that it’s rather irritating. More irritating that Spencer being a d*ck to a 5 year old boy on the show.  Almost as irritating as Stephanie’s ever expanding lips, and two inch thick blue eyeliner (but only under the lower lid – that’s the cool way).  Just sayin.

And yes, I still watch The Hills every week.
