Star Jones is giving you that ‘come hither’ stare.

The attorney and host joined Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet for the Go Red for Women event in NYC.

Celebrity Apprentice rivals Star Jones and Nene Leakes have reportedly called an off-camera truce, because both parties realized that their back-and-forth jabs in the media would soon get a bit out of hand. Though the strong-willed women didn’t take a liking to each other, the catalyst to the media blitz was when Nene went on the Wendy Williams Show and said she “wouldn’t spit on her [Star] if she was on fire.”

A source told RadarOnline:

“Both NeNe and Star are trying to get along better off set – it was really only when the show started taping that their competitiveness kicked-in.[...]NeNe felt slighted by Star who she thought was not showing her enough respect – while Star believed that NeNe was all show and no substance.[...]They are both head strong women and NeNe believed Star was trying to boss the other contestants around and on top of that they were feuding over hair, wardrobe and make-up too.[...]But they are trying to be more accepting of their differences now although producers want to ramp-up their rivalry when the cameras are rolling because they believe it could translate to high ratings.”

We’ll see how long this lasts, but hopefully the ladies can really put away the claws.

Star Jones is recovering from last week’s cardiac surgery with the help of her fans – and a simple frozen pleasure.

“Thank you for all the good wishes and prayers … I feel them all,” the former View co-host Tweets. By the way … who knew that ice chips could taste like steak!”

Jones, who turns 48 on Wednesday, had a heart procedure March 17 related to surgery she had 30 years ago to remove a thoracic tumor. Her rep told People over the weekend that the operation had been a success and Jones was recovering well.

By Monday she was feeling strong enough to talk politics.

“Can you imagine me trying to recover without health care?” Jones Tweeted. “Those who voted against it need to hang their heads in shame.”

It looks like former enemies Star Jones and Rosie O’Donnell have more in common than their mutual disdain for Barbara Walters!

The two former co-hosts of The View, who feuded after Rosie criticized Star in 2006 for not disclosing her gastric-bypass surgery, have made amends and are planning a reality show together.

“They get along quite well and have a wicked sense of humor when they’re together. Everyone keeps telling them they need to capture it on camera and now they’ve decided to,” a TV insider says. “They know people will tune in to see them.”

Although reps for both stars deny the story, the show will combine elements of Oprah and Gayle King’s cross-country trip with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s The Simple Life trek.

“They want to show their different personalities as they cope with real-life situations and determine if their new friendship can stand the stress of it all,” says the insider. “They’re hoping to be the new Lucy and Ethel of reality TV.”

Page Six is reporting that Star Jones and Al Reynolds have reached a settlement in their divorce proceeding.

The pair were reportedly scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, but reached the agreement shortly before.
