It looks like former enemies Star Jones and Rosie O’Donnell have more in common than their mutual disdain for Barbara Walters!
The two former co-hosts of The View, who feuded after Rosie criticized Star in 2006 for not disclosing her gastric-bypass surgery, have made amends and are planning a reality show together.
“They get along quite well and have a wicked sense of humor when they’re together. Everyone keeps telling them they need to capture it on camera and now they’ve decided to,” a TV insider says. “They know people will tune in to see them.”
Although reps for both stars deny the story, the show will combine elements of Oprah and Gayle King’s cross-country trip with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s The Simple Life trek.
“They want to show their different personalities as they cope with real-life situations and determine if their new friendship can stand the stress of it all,” says the insider. “They’re hoping to be the new Lucy and Ethel of reality TV.”

Looks like Star Jones is moving on after divorcing Al Reynolds! Life & Style can exclusively reveal the ID of Star’s new man – Chef Herb Wilson – who was spotted locking lips with Star at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York on Sept. 2.
So who’s the guy? “Herb is a renowned executive chef at the Soho Grand and the Tribeca Grand hotels in NYC,” a source tells Life & Style exclusively. “He’s the anti-thesis of Al! He’s successful, intelligent, and doesn’t want to be in the public eye.” And lucky for Star, Herb once described himself as the most eligible bachelor in New York restaurants. He’s a catch! The source adds that the couple have been long term friends but just started dating. “It’s early but it’s obviously they really like each other!” Star’s reps had no comment.

Barbara Walters is staying quiet about Star Jones’ recent comments on her new memoir, Audition.
Jones spoke exclusively to Usmagazine.com about Walters’ tell-all, which chronicles her affair with a married senator in the 1970s. (Jones said Walters has been “reduced to branding herself as an adulterer … for the sake of selling a book.”)
When contacted by Us, Walters’ rep said, “I will not dignify this with a comment. Barbara’s written words say it all!”

Star Jones put on a brave face when she delivered the commencement speech at Lane College in Jackson, Tenn., on April 27, four days after announcing her split with her husband of three-and-a-half years, Al Reynolds. That same night, Al and six friends hit The Forge restaurant in Miami, where the couple shares a condo. “There was a lot of champagne, vodka and dancing,” an onlooker says. “He seemed like he was putting on a show.” Al may just be masking his pain. “He is so hurt and so sad,” his mom, Ada Reynolds, tells In Touch exclusively. “He did not want this divorce at all. He wanted to stay married. I think Star wanted the divorce, not Al.”
Since meeting at a record release party for Alicia Keys more than four years ago, the former View co-host seemed completely smitten with Al. But recently, their relationship became rocky when Al, 37, who gave up a career in banking to become her manager after Star, 46, was fired from The View two years ago, started to assert his independence again. After her new TruTV show was canceled in January, “His desire to focus on his own career caused them to grow apart,” a close friend of Star’s reveals.
Al wanted to branch out, Star’s friend explains. “Al acted as her manager during her time at TruTV. And when her show was canceled, he became restless,” says an insider. He started writing a book on finance and began teaching at Florida Memorial University in Miami. “They started having a commuter relationship and she began to feel abandoned,” the friend adds. Once Star found out how different they had become, “the romance just faded away and she recognized that it was best to end it.”

Yesterday, “The Insider” broke the news that Star Jones had filed for divorce from hubby Al Reynolds. Now, we’re telling you about what sources are calling an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement.
Sources tell “The Insider” that lawyer Star made sure to protect herself by entering into an airtight pre-nup before marrying Al.
We’ve also learned that Star cares deeply about Al and wants them both to be happy and fulfilled, and because she believes that marriage is a covenant with God, she did not enter into the decision to divorce lightly. Sources also report that the couple, who married in 2004, hadn’t lived together for over a year — in fact, sources say that the honeymoon was over shortly after the marriage began.
In terms of where things stand today, we can report that Star is currently weathering the media firestorm with girlfriends in Costa Rica — she’s expected to come back the U.S. tomorrow. She had been planning to attend the Kentucky Derby on May 3rd, but it’s now unclear as to whether she’ll be going.
Al, on the other hand, has been holed up in his Miami condo since the divorce news broke, though the night before Star filed for divorce, a sweaty Al was spotted dancing up a storm in Miami.
