Spice Girls on the December issue of Hello magazine

The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion tour in Vancouver, British Columbia to 16,000 fans.
Why do I like them more now than when they first came out? Maybe it’s the greater appreciation for Posh, er- I mean good fashion.

Hours after bursting onto the stage for the first night of the Spice Girls comeback tour, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell switched from international pop stars to doting mothers as they left Vancouver for LA.
Scary Spice was spotted wrangling Angel Iris - her daughter to former boyfriend Eddie Murhpy - while queuing up at the airport before her flight.

Geri Halliwell is being forced to leave her 18-month-old daughter Bluebell at home while she and the other Spice Girls prepare to kick off their world tour in Vancouver on Sunday.
“Bluebell caught chickenpox from Cruz,” Halliwell (”Ginger” Spice), 35, revealed Friday morning on the British TV show GMTV. “She’s now completely pelted now so I left her at home. Normally they’re running around the set.”
As Halliwell suggests on the official Spice Girls’ blog, the outbreak was inevitable.
Daughter Bluebell, she says, “loves hanging with the Beckham boys. Cruz and Bluebell have play dates, and Romeo – well, he is just gorgeous with her. Actually, it was a beautiful moment when we were rehearsing the other day and all of our kids were playing on the stage at the same time. It made me smile.”
Between them, the girls have seven children: Victoria Beckham, 33, has three sons, Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz; Emma Bunton, 31, has one son Beau, born in August; Mel Brown, 32, has two children, Phoenix Chi, 8, and Angel, born in April, while Halliwell has little Bluebell. Melanie Chisholm, 33, so far is kid-less.

Girl power reigned Thursday night as the reunited Spice Girls performed for the first time.
“We’re so excited!” Geri Halliwell told PEOPLE before she and her bandmates (Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham) took to the stage at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater for the taping of annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In the audience, anticipation was also running high. Lauren Conrad of The Hills admitted that the Spice Girls’ performance was her “main reason” for attending. A giddy Eva Longoria was also ready to root them on. “I’m here to support Victoria,” she said. “Go Spice Girls!”
The group performed two songs, a military-themed rendition of their up-tempo hit “Stop” and their new ballad “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).” And although the five stars lip-synched their way though both numbers, die-hard fans scarcely seemed to care.
“I was dancing and singing along. I loved it,” raved Hayden Panettiere. “The Spice Girls were great. I knew every word to the first song. Enough said.”
“They looked hot!” added Ryan Seacrest. “I’m looking forward to hearing the album and seeing the full show.”
The night’s biggest surprise? Seal took to the stage with supermodel-wife Heidi Klum for a sweet duet. The PDA-prone couple ended the song with a passionate kiss. The show will be broadcast Dec. 4 on CBS.
The Spice Girls: Greatest Hits is on sale now online and at Victoria’s Secret stores. Their world tour is slated to begin Dec. 2 in Vancouver.
