OH THERE WILL BE A REUNION TOUR…with or without Victoria Beckham.

Melanie BrownMelanie ChisholmEmma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell are planning a reunion tour, as most of them don’t have much going on outside of you know…being ex-Spice Girls. No wait- Melanie C. hosts something, I guess. But who cares. Spice Girls tour!

“This has been in the works for the past year,” the insider tells Us. “The girls have long been keen to do a major reunion tour together.

“They are trying to convince Victoria to jump in, but she doesn’t want to do it,” a second source tells Us.

But who needs Posh? Not the four who wanna make some MONEY!

“She won’t sing or dance,” reveals the first source of the fashion designer and wife of former soccer pro David Beckham, adding, “There’s a small chance she’ll film something with them or make an appearance at a show here and there.”

Yeah, it’s going to be a problem if  Victoria won’t sing or dance. And hey, she wasn’t good at either, so I don’t really blame her. But clearly everyone else wants to do it. I think I’d have serious FOMO if I was Victoria.

“We adore each other,” Bunton, 40, told the Telegraph on March 21. “I would love to do something.”

“It’s our 20th anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate,” Brown, 40, said on a U.K. television special in December. “So hopefully something will be happening pretty soon.”

See? It’s all happening!!!

PICS: The Spice Girls are together again!

The Spice Girls were reunited for a couple hours today as they launched a new musical based on their popular 90’s songs.

“Viva Forever!”, written by British comedian Jennifer Saunders opens in London’s West End on December 11!

Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell (or Posh, Scary, Baby, Sporty and Ginger Spice) were photographed together 12 years after they originally split, and seven years since their reunion tour.

“I don’t think it took (us) any convincing at all,” Chisholm told a small group of reporters who met the band members before they appeared on stage to present the musical.

“It’s something we’ve spoken about a lot over the years. I think that our music lends itself really well to theatre and when we reunited in 2007 that was when we started to talk about it more seriously.”

Beckham, in a black outfit made by her own fashion brand, added: “We always said if we do this we want to work with the best people, because that’s what we’ve always done. Everything we’ve done we’ve done properly and we’ve got the ‘A-team.'”

The Spice Girls’ level of involvement in the musical was not fully clear, although they were consulted on the storyline and have seen early workshops.

“As much as we’ve written the songs, we also didn’t want to creatively stifle Judy and Jennifer,” Beckham said.

“So, somewhat, we have let them do what they do. Their success speaks for themselves. We really gave them the freedom to do their thing. We had a lot of faith in them.”

Beckham, who has remained in the limelight since the band went into hiatus in 2000 due to her success as a designer and style icon and marriage to soccer star David Beckham, hoped Viva Forever! would bring girl power to a new audience.

“We talked about girl power for a long long time and we’re hoping to introduce a whole new generation. What we do individually as well is empower women and it’s fun – we want to have fun and we’re excited.”

Viva Forever! is not a re-telling of the Spice Girls’ meteoric rise to global fame after they formed in 1994 having answered an advertisement to form a girl band.

While it does feature their hits, which include “Wannabe”, “Spice Up Your Life” and “Viva Forever”, it centers around four characters who audition for a TV talent show.

“It’s not about actually us, it’s the essence of the Spice Girls,” said Halliwell, who, like the other four Spice Girls, is a mother in her late 30s.

“There is a talent show in there, but actually, really what it’s about is about friendship, it’s about motherhood and then there is a little bit of how do you juggle between success and friendship?”

Asked about how they had got along since coming together to promote and work on the musical, Halliwell replied: “We actually do have quite a good time together when it’s just us lot.”

Dinner was out of the question, however, as Beckham was leaving on a flight soon after the promotion.

Brown bantered with reporters, calling their questions “crap” and asking why no one had asked why they all looked so good. She also stated on stage that at the musical workshops the performers “sing it better than us.”

“Well, that’s not hard,” Chisholm replied to loud laughter.

Chisholm also interrupted Halliwell as she praised the other Spice Girls, referring jokingly to “Ginger Spice’s” shock 1998 exit from the group amid reports of a bust up.

“She’s only saying that because she left.”

Spice Girl Mel B is pregnant!

Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls has a baby on the way! The woman also known as “Scary Spice” states to Hello! that she and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, are “really excited about it and ready for it.”

“Both my pregnancies have been lucky and happy and exciting, no matter what situation I’ve been in,” Brown explains. “This is different because we have been married for four years, we have a history together, we’re best friends, we’re in it together, and he’s totally supportive.”

The former Dancing With the Stars runner-up isn’t worried about putting on pregnancy pounds, either. “I like the feeling of being pregnant. I like being able to just eat something if I’m craving it,” she says. “I definitely do put on weight, but I think you’re meant to when you’re pregnant. I think it’s healthy.”

In case you didn’t know, Mel B can celebrate with fellow Spice Girls, as Emma Bunton is due this May, and Victoria Beckham is expecting a girl in July.

Mel B. excited about Spice Girls musical

Melanie Brown can’t wait to see the story of her life with the Spice Girls turned into a major musical.

Music mogul Simon Fuller, who managed the band, has confirmed reports he’s developing a London stage musical based on the story behind the all-conquering girl group, comprising of Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm.

He’s developing the Viva Forever! spectacular with Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer – and Brown hopes she won’t have to wait too long before the show hits the West End stage.

She explains, “All five of us (girls) are so excited about it, we really are. We’re in the early creative development stages just now, so I can’t really tell you much. We’ve actually teamed up with Judy Craymer, who did Mamma Mia! She’s great. And it was Simon Fuller’s idea, so he’s also a genius.”

No date has yet been set for the launch of the production, but Brown is hopeful they can put it in motion quickly: “I’d love if it was in three months to be honest.”
