Reality TV personalities Heidi and Spencer Pratt say they want to branch out from MTV’s “The Hills” and star in their own reality show.
In an interview Monday to promote their new book, “How to be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture,” the couple said they’re shopping the idea around to various networks.
They say that while “The Hills” only focuses on a small part of their lives, their own show would reveal everything that happens to them and could even include live segments. But they also say they don’t plan to leave “The Hills” and hope to appear on both shows.
Last summer, they also appeared on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” during a break from “The Hills.”
Are we surprised? NO!

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag never got their rematch with the Today show’s Al Roker.
The pair were expected on the NBC morning talk show Monday morning to promote their new book, How to Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture.
“Due to a change in the show’s schedule, we had to cancel the interview with Spencer and Heidi Pratt,” a Today show rep tells Usmagazine.com.
When the pair appeared on the show this past June, Montag said Roker made her cry with his harsh line of questioning. He also took Pratt to task, telling him that people think he acts like a “jerk.”
After their awkward chat, Roker took to Twitter to continue criticizing the pair.
“Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for…being infamous,” he Twittered. “Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we’re at minute 11 of their 15.”

Probably the most popular costume of the year. (Although this one is awfully funny too)
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have dressed as Jon and Kate Gosselin for Halloween.
“Halloween is supposed to be about scary costumes. What’s scarier than Speidi Plus Eight?” Pratt, 26, tells Usmagazine.com exclusively. “Any reality stars who can get themselves 55 covers will always have our respect!”
The costume will get Speidi some good press – even if most people are fed up with the Gosselins right now.
JUST ADDED! Other Halloween Costumes: Mickey Rourke, Check out 9-year-old Noah Cyrus’ controversial costume!
Pratt recently told the New York Post there’s no such thing as bad press.
“That word should never have even been created,” he said. “Remember when you were a kid and you’d make up words? “Bad press” is equivalent to a made up word. Look at Angelina Jolie. She can make out with her brother, have blood around her neck, talk graphic sex with her old boyfriend on the red carpet, steal America’s Sweethearts’s husband and get him to have babies with her. Then she turns around and is the face of UNICEF and a UN ambassador — and Speidi is the bad couple? Come on! I didn’t break up a marriage — how are we the villains in Hollywood. Give me a break.” Tell Us: Do Heidi and Spencer make a good Jon and Kate?

A superstar!! Could it be true!?

Four months into their marriage, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are already having some woes.
On The View Thursday, he said he won’t sleep with his wife because she keeps trying to get pregnant.
“She [says] she is not going to tell me she is going to go off her birth control,” Pratt, 26, said on The View Thursday.
Not sleeping with her is “the only thing I can think of in my defense,” he said.
Montag, 23, insisted she isn’t intentionally forgetting to tell him.
“I would tell him the truth, but sometimes mistakes happen,” she said. “Sometimes you accidentally miss one. It happens.”
Montag said she wants kids “sooner than later,” adding, “My mom was a young mom.”
But Pratt is so adamant about not wanting them, “He says he wants surgery,” Heidi said.
She said he “joked” about not wanting kids before they got married, but she never took him seriously.
“I thought we would get married and then go to that hurdle — marriage and then kids at the same time,” she said.
She said “it’s only four months. We’re supposed to be in the honeymoon phase.”

I was just reading through all the latest Twitter updates, and saw one that Spencer Pratt just posted. He’s such an idiot!

And I would say it’s more of Kristin Cavallari swooping in for sloppy seconds, rather than Lauren Conrad being replaced.
OMG why am I talking about this.
