Okay, so the book has been dubbed “mommy porn”. The cast of SNL turned the hit book series into a parody commercial for Amazon’s Kindle.

The hilarious clip, featuring with cast members Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Vanessa Bayer, sends one very important message — if you’re going to gift mom with “Fifty Shades” this Mother’s Day, be sure to give her a padlock for the door as well.

Rihanna certainly nailed her performance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

The singer was the musical guest alongside host Eli Manning. She performed two new songs off her album ‘Talk That Talk’ – “Birthday Cake” and “Where Have You Been”.

According to TMZ, Rihanna missed her “SNL” dress rehearsal performance because of an illness, which angered many “Saturday Night Live” producers, including Lorne Michaels. “Rihanna was sick and needed to save her voice for the live show,” a source told TMZ.

The pop megastar showed no ill effects during her “SNL” performance, which included some of the dance sequences she highlighted in a recently released video for “Where Have You Been.” In a behind-the-scenes clip, Rihanna revealed that famed choreographer Hi-Hat (“Step Up 3″) was helping her create a routine.

In February, Rihanna unveiled a controversial remix of “Birthday Cake,” featuring Chris Brown, her ex-boyfriend. Brown viciously beat Rihanna in a 2009 incident before the Grammy Awards, at which they were scheduled to perform.

She did absolutely amazing! Loved them both!

Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey go way back. Lindsay starred in Tina Fey’s “Mean Girls” back in 2004, and the ’30 Rock’ comedian has been one of Lindsay’s biggest supporters over the years.

Tina was reportedly planning on being there for Lindsay on Saturday night during her hosting gig, she even intended on appearing in Lindsay’s monologue. Instead she had to stay home with sick kids.

“Tina was committed to doing the monologue with Lindsay but both of her children got sick,” a rep for Fey told the paper. “She was unable to participate as planned.”

Lohan received mixed reviews for her performance on “SNL,” which drew a high number of viewers and was the second-highest-rated episode of the season.

How many of you watched Lindsay Lohan on Saturday’s ‘SNL’? I watched it, and I thought she did a HORRIBLE job. One of my favorite lines from the reviews I’ve read came from DListed: “Yes, everybody on SNL reads cue cards, but sometimes LiLo’s eyes were glued to those things like they had the recipe for how to make crack in a crock pot written on them. On the positive, at least we know she can still read.”

Lindsay used the opening monologue to poke fun at herself. Her troubles with the law, her sobriety, even her relationship with Sam Ronson. But it didn’t come across as very funny? (Watch the video below)

Letting Lindsay Lohan host “Saturday Night Live” was a mistake. And that isn’t anything against Lohan, her well documented escapades or her hopeful recovery. The fact is she just wasn’t ready. It was apparent that the cast and the writers didn’t particularly trust her (and why should they?) since they relegated her to backup duty in pretty much every sketch.

Also, she hasn’t acted in so long that her cue card reading was really obvious. (To be fair, all hosts are told to the read the cue cards because of the last-second changes that are made, but with Lohan it became particularly distracting.) And, you know what, it’s never a good thing when the host’s lawyer has final approval over sketches. Then, during the good nights, I watched Lohan approach cast member after cast member, seeking an endorsement, but, instead, receiving what seemed to be a forced, “Oh, yeah, you were great.” Anyway, all of this culminated with a terrible vibe. And, worse, because they were playing it so safe with Lohan (on a night, I should add, that two commercial parodies were repeated from earlier this season) this was a really boring show. Besides the pre-taped Disney ‘SNL’ short below (which was really, really funny), I thought the whole show was very dull. If Lindsay’s looking for a comeback, she really needed to memorize those cue cards. She should have gone in there – fully prepared – knowing her lines completely. All this did was prove that she still has lots to work on.

Lindsay Lohan will be hosting ‘SNL’ for the fourth time on Saturday, and here we have our first look at Lindsay on set!

“If only magazines and websites had documented my activities more closely,” Lohan sarcastically complains to SNL cast member Kenan Thompson, adding, “America could have used more information about me, or maybe even a picture or two.”

Lana Del Rey performed on ‘Saturday Night Live’ a couple weeks ago, and she was hit with a wave of negative backlash after critics and fans alike hailed her performance as one of the worst-ever.

On Saturday’s ‘SNL’, Kristen Wiig stopped by “Weekend Update” as Del Rey, to chat with Seth Meyers about the backlash, and credited her detractors with being absolutely right. “Based on the public’s response, I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem.”

She went on to say that critics were right to take her to task for changing her name and for not being seasoned enough to perform on the show: “The music stage on ‘Saturday Night Live’ is hallowed ground, and I failed to reach the high bar set by past guests like Bubba Sparxxx, The Baha Men and Shaggy.”

I saw her performance, and I didn’t think it was so bad. I think she’s kind of an awkward performer live, but she actually really has an incredibly voice. I have her new album, ‘Born To Die’, and I absolutely LOVE it. I’ve listened to it over and over and over since I got it, and I would recommend it to anyone!

She’s doing something right, her album is the fastest selling album of 2012 so far, and has been at No. 1 on the charts since it was released.

For those who don’t like Del Rey, you may be in luck. She’s recently told Vogue she’s not sure if she’ll write another album.
“I don’t think I’ll write another record. What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I’ve said already.”

I hope she DOES write another album. I’m really loving this one!
