The Sister Wives family are moving to Nevada!

According to TMZ, the ‘Sister Wives’ family are moving to Las Vegas. “Sister Wives” polygamist Kody Brown is gonna need a whole LOTTA moving trucks … ’cause the man with 4 wives and 19 kids is moving his entire family out of the state of Utah.

Sources close to the Brown’s — all 24 of ’em — tell TMZ Kody will be moving the gang to Nevada so he and his wives can “explore new job opportunities.”

Brown — who was at the center of the felony bigamy investigation in Utah — shouldn’t face as much scrutiny for his living situation in Nevada … where cohabitation between a man and his unlicensed “wives” is not a crime.

Brown family attorney Jonathan Turley tells us neither Kody nor his wives have been hit with any charges stemming from the Utah investigation.

As for the move — we’re told the fam should be on the road in the next few days.

A ‘Sister Wives’ Bombshell!

Keeping up with the polygamist Brown family just got more complicated! It turns out the stars of TLC’s hit show Sister Wives have been hiding a secret about how wives Janelle and Meri first met.

In this week’s issue of Star, we reveal the shocking news that Kody Brown‘s second wife Janelle was married to the brother of wife No. 1, Meri, before she joined their family. According to their marriage certificate, Janelle legally wed Adam Barber in Salt Lake City in December 1988. They divorced in 1990, three years before Janelle and Kody tied the knot in a nontraditional commitment ceremony.

As for Meri, “I know she was originally very upset over Janelle dumping her brother. I think there has been a lot of unspoken tension between her, Janelle and Kody all these years,” a family insider tells Star exclusively.

‘Sister Wives’ finale – what did you think?

So last night was the season finale of TLC’s controversial ‘Sister Wives’ and now – combined with the loss of ‘Mad Men’, I will have nothing to watch on Sunday’s. (Well, I suppose there’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ – which HELLO has gotten so good!)

Last night’s finale found Kody Brown marrying his fourth wife, Robyn. The first half hour was all about the preparation for the big day, in which Kody’s three other wives each battled with their own form of jealousy. The second half hour showed the wedding and reception, and tried (pretty desperately, IMO) to paint a “normal, pretty” picture.

What was so sad was watching each of the women deal with their jealousy, and insecurities, and I was left thinking – of course they’re jealous! Of course they’re upset! Can you imagine sharing your wife with another woman, let alone three? I just feel bad, do they know that they don’t have to put up with that? That it’s okay to want your own husband? I think it’s such a sad religion, Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know they would argue that the benefits outweigh the sacrifices, but man – it seems like such a sad life to me.

I liked how in the finale you actually saw some true emotions from the wives. How hard it is dealing with their lifestyle.  Can you imagine what it must have felt like for Meri, Janelle and Christine to watch your husband marry a younger, thinner and prettier fourth wife?

What was super creepy to me was watching all the sexual excitement written all over Kody’s face. For the first time in what, 16 years, he was going to get to have sex with a new woman! When he stood up and danced at the cake-tasting table, I think I actually got goosebumps. CREEPY.

PS: If TLC orders up season 2 – I am all over that.

What did you think?

So will the ‘Sister Wives’ family be charged?

Police in Utah have wrapped up their investigation into the Sister Wives family, and have handed their findings off to prosecutors, who will decide whether or not to press charges.

Police were looking into whether or not the Brown family violated Utah’s anti-bigamy law, which is a felony.

The case focuses on Kody Brown and his wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, whose lives are depicted on the TLC reality show that premiered last month.

The Utah County Attorney’s Office received the case from Lehi, Utah, police on Monday. Polygamy cases are extremely rare in the state and authorities say this one was prompted by the publicity from the show. The maximum penalty for felony polygamy is five years in prison.

Utah County Attorney Jeff Buhman said he didn’t know when a decision on charges would be made. “It varies. It could take months,” he tells E! News.

The Browns have said they were “disappointed” in the investigation but “knew there would be risks” in doing the show.

So what do you think?
