Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver showed up on the red carpet last night wearing the same teal dress.
Obviously done on purpose, the two hammed it up in front of the cameras wearing the same David Meister dress. The two wore the same dress to poke fun at their onscreen competitive characters. In “You Again”, the actresses play old high school rivals who reconnect years later through their daughters. In a scene in the movie, the two show up for a wedding wearing the same dress.
So who wore the dress better?

Sigourney Weaver certainly isn’t in a very nostalgic mood… Not only has the actress just rebuffed a role in the second Ghostbusters sequel, but she’s also ruled out making a return to Ridley Scott’s Alien film franchise…
Her onscreen alter ego Ellen Ripley died in the third Alien film, but Weaver still returned for 1997’s Aliens Resurrection, giving fans hope that she’d resurface again in a prequel. However, she told TVSquad.com that she doesn’t “think that Ripley could appear in an Alien prequel “because she doesn’t have any access to the creature until the first Alien,” before adding that she wouldn’t be making an appearance in Ghostbusters either.
“I think they’re trying to create something new completely with the Ghostbusters, although I know Bill [Murray] is in it. I don’t expect to have anything to do with it, although I wish them well.”
Only original screenplays for Ms Weaver from now on then…

Sigourney Weaver was forced to undergo years of therapy to rebuild her self-esteem after her mother dismissed her as a “plain”-looking girl during her youth.
The actress turned to her mother, stage actress Elizabeth Inglis, for reassurance about her looks when she was being bullied at school – but was traumatized when her mom described her features as ordinary.
And she insists she had to have “lots and lots of therapy” to recover from her mother’s harsh remarks.
She says, “I always felt gangly. I was teased at school for being a too-tall beanpole and I yearned to be the pretty one. When I was about eight, I asked my mom if I was pretty. She said, ‘No, dear, you’re just plain.’ That was, well, hard. I thought, ‘Gee, if your mom doesn’t even think you are pretty…’ It took me a long time to realize I was prettier than plain.”

Sigourney Weaver travelled to Scotland to trace her heritage – but was left red-faced because her father had given her the wrong name to research.
The Alien star recently flew to the U.K. to find out more about her ancestry after discovering she was part Scottish.
But when she found what she thought was a castle belonging to her ancestors, her dad, TV producer Sylvester L. Weaver Jr., admitted he had gotten the family names mixed up.
She says, “My dad said we were part of the McLoud clan, so I went to Scotland and found the McLoud castle. I phoned him and there was a pause and he says, ‘You know what, I think we’re McFarlane!’”

Sigourney Weaver had to be forced to take her career as an actress seriously by pals – because she was so self-conscious growing up.
The 58-year-old star admits she was reluctant to pursue a career in entertainment from an early age, until she was convinced by friends of her talent and finally decided to get over her shyness.
She says, “I was very shy, very self-conscious. I didn’t even decide to be an actress until my friends kept hiring me in New York. I kind of backed into it.”
Weaver adds she’s worked with many co-stars who suffered from similar insecurities: “It’s funny how many late-bloomers there are in our business. Whether through shyness or what have you, we hold back and then suddenly – boom!”
