Sienna Miller has dumped boyfriend Rhys Ifans - because he was jealous of her friendship with her former lover Matthew Rhys.

She ended her one-year relationship with the Welsh actor last weekend.

Miller - who ended her relationship with Rhys to date Ifans - has blamed the break-up on their long-distance relationship, reports British newspaper the Sun.

A source tells the publication, “Sienna broke the news at the weekend in a call from Prague. Things have been awkward for a while after she caught Rhys going through her text messages. She went bananas and Rhys said he was looking for what he called ‘incriminating evidence’. He has been giving her a hard time lately, questioning her commitment to him and the time she puts into the relationship. She compared him to a spotlight shining in her face all the time. He is heartbroken they have split. Sienna feels really sorry for him because he had slotted into her family perfectly, but she couldn’t cope with his suspicious and jealous behavior.
“When they are together they get on so well. But she can’t cope with his jealousy.”

Miller and Rhys have recently been spending time together to promote their new movie The Edge Of Love.

She admitted in a recent interview: “I must have a thing for Welshmen.”

Sienna Miller is stunned people find her relationship with Rhys Ifans “unlikely” - because they couldn’t be more suited.

The Layer Cake star admits she was surprised by the media’s interest in her romance with the Welsh Notting Hill actor, and finds it strange people think they are an odd couple.

She says, “I don’t know why people find it so unlikely. We started as friends and then it just slowly developed. I don’t think either of us was expecting it, but it truly has been the most wonderful thing. I totally love Rhys but most of all, he’s my best friend. He makes me laugh. Not just a little laugh - he can completely floor me laughing.”

Rhys Ifans has denied rumors he is set to marry his fiancee Sienna Miller in a summer ceremony this year.

The couple was reportedly preparing to wed in August - a year after Miller rejected his first proposal, when the Notting Hill star asked for her hand in marriage by sending her a cryptic message in Welsh, which read: “Marry The Misfit”.

The Factory Girl star said no for the second time when Ifans asked again at her 26th birthday party in December - but she finally agreed to marry him on his third attempt in March.

Reports have since been rife that the couple is planning a low-key celebration in the coming months, but Notting Hill actor Ifans has dismissed the claims.

He tells Britain’s Closer magazine, “I’m not marrying Sienna this summer. I’m taking a break at the moment and just want to chill out.”

And, despite recent speculation of a split, Miller insists they are happier than ever: “I am in love - Rhys and I are the best of mates and life is going great.”

Our mole added: “Rhys can always make her laugh and tried to do so this time by singing Kimberly’s dad’s tune Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? while performing a joke striptease.

“This time though it didn’t work and Sienna became really irritated.

Sienna Miller hates stripping off on-screen - because she can’t stand the idea of her father seeing her naked.

The blonde beauty worries so much about her beloved dad seeing her in steamy scenes, she warns him to cover his eyes when she appears undressed.

She says, “I get embarrassed, especially if my dad watches them. I get embarrassed watching them myself. But sometimes you just have to do it.”

But the British star insists on performing realistic sex scenes - by refusing to wear a bra in bed.

Miller explains, “It has to be realistic and I think it is probably very rare that people have sex with their bra on so if you are going to do it, just do it. That’s my motto.”

Babies weren’t on the agenda for Sienna Miller during her roller-coaster romance with Jude Law, but it looks like motherhood may now be an option with current beau Rhys Ifans.

“I really want bubbies (sic) – I always have,” Miller told the June U.K. edition of InStyle magazine during a baby shower for her elder sister Savannah.

“I mean, I’m nearly 27 and you have to think about these things, don’t you?” posited Miller. “And Sav proves you can work and be a mum. It still scares me, though.”

The expectant Savannah – who already has one son, Moses – held the baby shower in west London, with a rock music soundtrack playing on a vintage 1950s record player. Guests snacked on with multicolored cupcakes, salads and tartlets, all washed down with Earl Grey tea and rosé Champagne.

Although baby showers are still a new concept in Britain, the Millers are more familiar with them than most, having an American father.

During the bash, celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke asked Sienna about her Welsh squeeze, scruffy actor Ifans (best known stateside for his role in 1999’s Notting Hill).

“[He’s] mad as a box of frogs – but I’m not exactly sane,” quipped the actress, who is already certain her sister’s baby-to-be is a girl.

Although she has the fame, Sienna still claims her sister inherited all the desirable traits. As she told InStyle, “When I was born, Savannah stole the height, the legs, the boobs, the spirituality.”
