“I am at the point of my life where if I am going to be in a relationship, I don’t want to be on the phone for an hour a night.
“I’m craving romance in my life.
“I’m not in the mood for one-night stands, even though it is summer and I should be.
“If I am in a relationship I want it to be grounded and solid. I see my sister, and she has this wonderful marriage and a wonderful husband.”
Speaking to American Vogue magazine, she adds: “I’m free-spirited and it gets me into trouble. It’s hard to be yourself and be accepted in the world I move in.
“I look around and see a lot of miserable people. But I am happy.”
She also opens her heart about her relationship with Law, adding: “I was 21 when we got together, it was love. We were both working and travelling and seeing each other, and I’ll love him forever.
“We didn’t have time to breathe on any level. The stolen moments - getting a curry and sitting in the garden - were bliss.
“I want to grow from that experience. I don’t want to repeat patterns or carry baggage.”
Sienna is now hoping for a more serene “earth mother” life.
She says: “I’ve ignored the earthy side of my nature. I’m really grounded and quite hippy, wanting to nurture and have children and be quiet.”

After being linked with co-star Matthew Rhys recently Sienna Miller is at it again - this time, the Factory Girl star has been spotted getting familiar with ‘Notting Hill’ actor Rhys Ifans.

The actress who is more famous for her relationship with fellow thespian Jude Law, rather than her unexceptional acting career, has been spotted sunbathing on the beach in Ibiza with an attentive Ifans in tow.
The pair made little effort to hide their obvious affection for one another, as they walked to the beach with their arms wrapped around each other.
Ifans used to date Jess Morris, owner of fashion PR company Magnolia, and Sienna’s relationship with musician Jamie Burke ended recently, leaving the coast clear for Ifans to join Sienna’s ever-increasing list of would-be suitors.
And it appears he is making a concerted play for Miss Miller, even joining her for a drink at a London bar the day after they returned from Ibiza.
Sienna and Ifans, looked very comfortable together, and spent an hour drinking wine together at the bar in Notting Hill.
Although she’s gained a reputation as a partygirl, Sienna, 25, recently expressed she always thought her destiny was to be a wife and mother.
She said: “I know I want that because I have way too much love to give. If I have a child, it can all go there. I was never desperate to be famous.”

Serial dater Sienna Miller has a habit of falling for her co-stars, and it seems that Jude Law’s cheating on her with his kids’ nanny hasn’t put her off at all.
We can reveal that the actress is smitten with actor Sean Bean - the man she is about to start filming her latest movie with.
In fact, she is so into him that she has already spent a romantic evening with him at her west London home, where she treated him to the culinary delight of beef stew.
source close to Sienna, 25, revealed: “She is completely mesmerised by Bean already. She has told friends that she can’t help feeling transfixed by his green eyes and loves the fact that he is a real macho man.”
Sienna is due to begin filming Oscar Wilde’s A Woman Of No Importance with Bean in September - but she hasn’t wasted any time in getting to know Sheffield-born Bean.
As well as a romantic meal, Sienna is understood to be on the phone nonstop to the 48-year-old actor, who has split with girlfriend Georgina Sutcliffe.
Our source continues: “He is almost twice Sienna’s age but she doesn’t care about that.
“She has dated many men of many different ages, and who have varied circumstances, so the fact he is a bit older isn’t an issue for her, she is hoping to get to know him a lot better.”

Prince Harry kicked off the Concert for Diana with the words: “Hello, Wembley!”
William and brother Harry took to the stage in front of a 63,000-strong crowd at Wembley Stadium at the start of the special event they have organised in memory of their mother, on what would have been her 46th birthday.
Sir Elton John opened the event with a performance of Your Song before introducing the two princes, who entered to a standing ovation.
“This event is about all that our mother loved in life - her music, her dancing, her charities and her family and friends,” said William, 25. “We just want you to have an awesome time and enjoy the line-up.”
Harry said: “It’s great to see so many of you here supporting this very special show.”
And the 22-year-old royal couldn’t resist cracking a gag.
“When William and I first had the idea we forgot we would end up standing here desperately trying to think of something funny to say. We’ll leave that to the funny people - and Ricky Gervais,” he quipped.
The princes were watched by Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy and William’s former girlfriend Kate Middleton, who helped them to organise the event.
The concert marks the 10th anniversary of Diana’s death and features a line-up of acts including Lily Allen, Take That, Kanye West and Sir Tom Jones.
The princes introduced one of their mother’s favourite bands, Eighties heart-throbs Duran Duran, before taking their seats in the royal box.
