Blink-182 star Travis Barker and his estranged wife Shanna Moakler are giving their marriage another chance – because the former beauty queen refuses to give up. The couple went through a bitter split last year, and, after a brief reconciliation, they broke up again this summer.

But former Miss USA Moakler hopes it’s third-time lucky for the on/off couple – and their two kids.

She says, “My parents have been together for more than 40 years. I believe in my vows, and I’m working hard and will do everything to maintain them.”

Meanwhile, Moakler insists date nights will save her marriage: “I love seeing Travis with the children, but I love his romantic side best.”

Man, I can’t even keep up with them anymore!

Shanna Moakler loves her post-baby body and insists there is no Hollywood secret to being thin.

“I look at my children and I am thrilled that my body will never be the same after having them,” 32-year-old mother of three says. “They were worth it!”

Writing on her MySpace page, the actress tells readers she’d “rather be called Shanna porker and be a healthy average WOMAN, th[a]n do what most do, to get that thin.”

“Most ’starlets’ have plastic surgery, they use pills, drugs, or they live in the gym for 4 to 6 hours a day,” writes Moakler. “It took 9 months[;] it might take a year getting back!”

For the Dancing with the Stars alum, post-natal body shape should be embraced – not despised: “Stop beating yourself up!! It will all go back!!”

The former Miss USA is mother to daughters Atiana, 8 – from her relationship with ex-fiancé, boxer Oscar De La Hoya – and son Landon, 3, and 19-month-old Alabama.

I’ve been getting a lot of letters asking my thoughts on recent events, so here it goes…. I know a lot of people think karma is going around and yeah I guess it might be, but to me..this is far from karma, if anything people like Paris love this shit, walking out of a court house to be met by a bevy of paparzzi like princess diana…carrying the bible around…loves it! Karma will be the day she’s married and has kids and her husband goes and fucks a 22 yr old and knocks her up. I don’t find happiness in others when they are down, but I sure in hell don’t feel bad for people who play the victim constantly and are far from it. People who feel it’s their job to make people feel beneath them or take opportunities others would die for an shit on them and frankly make a mockery of. So as the penis posse goes down one by one and enters jail or rehab…I don’t really think anything of it…they just show me what I always knew and thought they were _________. ( you can fill in the blank)

With that being said and on a much more positive note, we finished filming on my new show “CROWNED”, it is set to air in JAN and I am so excited!! Like I said before I now KNOW it will become one of your favorite guilty pleasures!! It was so much fun to film and everyone on the set is amazing!

I know some of you also wanted to know about my mothers day, it was beautiful, I spent the day with my kids and went swimming with them, they made me the cutest cards from school and I felt proud and so lucky!! Sadly, Travis is out on the Fall Out Boy tour and couldn’t be here, he did however send me the most romantic bouquet of flowers and hidden in one of our rooms he had balloons and a gorgeous purse! He went above and beyond and I miss him alot!! Hopefully when the kids are done with school I can get out on tour with the kids and really have some fun!!

for someone who “doesn’t really think anything of it” sure had a mouth load to say. don’t blame “young hollywood” for your FUCKED UP relationships you old haggard. maybe if you fixed yourself up a little bit, you wouldnt be so jealous of others. you know, a nice face/breast lift, lost a couple pounds (40), got rid of the paris haircut, and found yourself a decent looking boytoy you wouldn’t be so depressed and feel the need to comment on other peoples lifes that you dont know.

After a bitter breakup over the summer, Shanna Moakler told PEOPLE in March that she and estranged husband Travis Barker were back together. And now Barker has opened up about why they decided to give their marriage a second chance.

“I think [it was] love, keeping our family together and believing in ourselves,” Barker told PEOPLE on Tuesday at Complex Magazine’s fifth anniversary party at Area in Los Angeles, where the couple smooched and cuddled all night. And making the kids happy: “Oh my gosh, that is like the biggest treat of all,” he said.

Barker, 31, and Moakler, 32, who are parents to son Landon, 3, and daughter Alabama, 1½, both wore their wedding rings Tuesday night. “We’re pulling out of the separation. We’re still married,” Moakler told PEOPLE.

“We’re just trying to move forward with a clean slate,” Barker added.

The couple posed together on a Harley Davidson motorcycle parked at the start of the red carpet, kissing while they sat on the bike. As they walked hand-in-hand to the party, Barker caressed Moakler’s face and ran his fingers through her hair.

Also at the party: Barker’s former fling Paris Hilton. Hilton, who showed up with her new boyfriend, Desperate Housewives actor Josh Henderson, kept her distance from Moakler (the two filed police reports against each other after a nightclub dust-up in October).

But Moakler didn’t seem phased – after all, she’d just added a new member to her family. “We got [the kids] a puppy today. It’s a little French bulldog,” she told PEOPLE. The new pup can keep the family company when Barker takes off in three weeks to tour with Fall Out Boy and Paul Wall.
