The nanny who is accusing Rob Lowe and his wife of sexual harassment has been endorsed by reality TV star Shanna Moakler, who has vowed to stand by her.
Laura Boyce, who worked for the Lowe family up until last year, has accused Lowe of creating an “extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment”, claiming her former boss regularly paraded around the family home naked and made inappropriate comments of a lewd nature.
She filed papers in Los Angeles on Wednesday and staged an emotionally-charged press conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred on Thursday to address her accusations.
Boyce also childminds for Moakler, who insists the 37-year-old is a good friend.
Moakler tells People.com, “I’ve been friends with Laura for the past ten years - before she was my nanny - and I completely stand by her.”
The Lowes vehemently deny all accusations levelled at them. A deposition of the actor and his wife has been scheduled for May 19th.

The on-again and off-again relationship between former MTV reality show couple Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler is off again – this time for good, he tells PEOPLE.
“No, I’m no longer with her,” Barker told PEOPLE over the weekend at the 5th annual Roots Jam benefiting Rock the Vote at West Hollywood’s Key Club. “We were actually divorced a few days ago.”
Asked if he’s found any new romance, Barker says, “I have a beautiful daughter at home, a beautiful son at home. That’s where my head is at right now. I don’t have time for anything else.”
TMZ.com quotes online records showing that Barker and Moakler, both 32, are now officially single. The couple, who in happier days starred in MTV’s Meet the Barkers, have two kids together: Landon, 4, and Alabama, 2.

And good for them!
Blink-182 star Travis Barker and his estranged wife Shanna Moakler are giving their marriage another chance - because the former beauty queen refuses to give up. The couple went through a bitter split last year, and, after a brief reconciliation, they broke up again this summer.
But former Miss USA Moakler hopes it’s third-time lucky for the on/off couple - and their two kids.
She says, “My parents have been together for more than 40 years. I believe in my vows, and I’m working hard and will do everything to maintain them.”
Meanwhile, Moakler insists date nights will save her marriage: “I love seeing Travis with the children, but I love his romantic side best.”

Shanna Moakler loves her post-baby body and insists there is no Hollywood secret to being thin.
“I look at my children and I am thrilled that my body will never be the same after having them,” 32-year-old mother of three says. “They were worth it!”
Writing on her MySpace page, the actress tells readers she’d “rather be called Shanna porker and be a healthy average WOMAN, th[a]n do what most do, to get that thin.”
“Most ’starlets’ have plastic surgery, they use pills, drugs, or they live in the gym for 4 to 6 hours a day,” writes Moakler. “It took 9 months[;] it might take a year getting back!”
For the Dancing with the Stars alum, post-natal body shape should be embraced – not despised: “Stop beating yourself up!! It will all go back!!”
The former Miss USA is mother to daughters Atiana, 8 – from her relationship with ex-fiancé, boxer Oscar De La Hoya – and son Landon, 3, and 19-month-old Alabama.
