A pretty-in-pink Sarah Jessica Parker films a scene inside the Diane von Furstenberg store in New York City for “Sex and the City: The Movie.” 

Rumor has it that Sarah Jessica Parker is the guest judge on Project Runway!

Sex & The City alum Kim Cattrall held out for a whopping $6 million for the part of Samantha Jones for the movie role. Co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are only getting $2 million apiece.

Now this is all according to the National Enquirer via Celebitchy.

Did she think her character was that important that she should get triple what the other two got for the movie? I want to see this movie already and they could’ve had Samantha succumb to cancer and opened the movie with the other three grieving her funeral, for that matter.

That’s just my opinion, what do you think?

And yes, I know there are better pictures of SJP, but I think this one (from the SATC set) is rather funny…and suits the article below.

The folks over at Maxim magazine think it’s too easy picking Charlize Theron as the Sexiest Woman Alive. They’d rather weigh in on who’s unsexy.

The unfortunate recipient of the lad mag’s Unsexiest title is “Sex & the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker, whose character Carrie Bradshaw is not only in high demand with the opposite sex, but is also a fashion diva among the fair sex.

Maxim, however, points out her more, um, equine features: “How the hell did this Barbaro-faced broad manage to be the least sexy woman in a group of very unsexy women and still star on a show with ’sex’ in the title? Pull your skirt down, Secretariat, we´d rather ride Chris Noth.”

In the runner-up position is the Beehived One herself, “Rehab” singer Amy Winehouse, whose “openly hemorrhaging translucent skin, rat’s nest mane and lashes that look more like surgically attached bats.”.

On the small screen, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Sandra Oh took third place for playing “Dr. McSkinny, with her cold bedside manner and boyish figure.”

Rounding out the Unsexy 5 is Madonna in the penultimate position “with a mug that looks Euro-sealed to her skull.” The heir to her pop princess throne, Britney Spears, took last place because, “Less than five years ago, Britney had a python wrapped around her well-toned torso onstage at the VMAs. Since then, she´s lost the ability to perform, but gained two kids, two useless ex-husbands, and about 23 pounds of Funyun pudge.”

We’ve seen quite a bit of the cast of the Sex and the City movie filming in NYC recently, but this is our first glimpse of Willie Garson aka Sanford. They are also totally showing off their day to night looks, and SJP’s hair seems to be a different colors in the pictures. Jennifer Hudson looks thrilled to be a part of the crew even in the horrible heart ensemble Pat Field made her wear. I can’t wait for this movie to come out!

The movie adaptation of hit TV series Sex and the City could be in trouble, according to set insiders.

Plans for a film adaptation of Darren Star’s HBO series were reportedly hampered by producers’ inability to convince Kim Cattrall to reprise her role as the promiscuous Samantha and she’s causing problems on set already, it has been claimed.

Clashes between Cattrall and the series’ star Sarah Jessica Parker – who played the infuriatingly self-absorbed Carrie – were rumoured to be renowned during the show’s six-season run and it would seem that old rivalries die hard.

Cattrall allegedly stormed out of a reunion party in New York restaurant Butter last week and an insider has revealed that the long-running feud continues.

Ironically, the latest clash surfaced over one of the show’s most important themes: shoes.

“Kim wanted to wear a pair of red heels and picked them out from wardrobe especially, but then Sarah apparently swept in and took them, much to Kim’s disgust,” the inside source said.

Co-star Kristin Davis was forced to separate the pair after yet another row and producers are apparently worried that the arguments could lengthen production time.

However, both actresses won’t let personal rivalries stand in the way of completing the movie, it seems.

“By the end of the TV series they could barely be civil to each other,” the source admitted.

“But both women are top professionals and won’t let this get in the way of their jobs. They know the Sex and the City movie is a huge money-spinner and a great way to wave goodbye to their characters, and each other, for good.”
