Lindsay Lohan is reportedly planning to invest in a New York home to share with her rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The Mean Girls star currently lives in Los Angeles but originally hails from Long Island, New York. And now the 22-year-old is said to be planning a return to her hometown by splashing out on a penthouse in the city’s famous Dakota building, where late Beatle John Lennon once lived.

A source tells British newspaper the News of the World, “Lindsay’s had her eye on the Dakota building for years. It’s an iconic building and she’s not bothered about complaints from residents. She plans to make it a hotbed for parties.”

I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.

I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…

Palin’s Desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) ? Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child.

Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”

Did Lindsay Lohan really get a rock from her rocker girl, Samantha Ronson?

Once again, rumors are rampant that the ladyloves are engaged! Well, that’s what happens when you are a young, famous female in love and you go around sporting a heart-shaped sparkler on your left hand. And now, we can confirm for you…It’s not true.

“It’s all BS,” says her father, Michael Lohan, when asked if L.A. DJ Ronson recently proposed to his daughter. “It’s not true.”

A source close to Dina Lohan adds, “She said it’s just one of Lindsay’s cocktail rings, nothing more.”

In fact, Lindsay enjoys wearing flashy rings on her wedding ring finger especially because of the storm it causes in the media.

“It’s like her own personal joke these days,” the source said. “She slips a ring on that finger, then goes to a party and watches the rumors start to roll. It amuses her.”

Lindsay Lohan and friend, Samantha Ronson, are paying tribute to September 11th. Both ladies posted myspace blogs yesterday recognizing the events of 2001. Lindsay writes, “I am in New York and I would like to remind everybody to take a moment today for those lost in tragedy that occurred on 9/11/01.”

Ronson also wrote on her blog about her feelings about 9/11, “waking up in NYC this morning, 7 years later and it feels like just yesterday this city and our worlds were turned upside down….never in my lifetime had I ever believed that I would see such horror.”

In addition to filming the newest season of ABC’s “Ugly Betty,” Lindsay is also in New York for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Samantha Ronson says that she will marry lesbian lover Lindsay Lohan in the next six months.

Sam used her DJ slot at top LA hotel and night spot Chateau Marmont to announce the news, telling clubbers: “By the end of this year, my love will be Mrs Ronson.”

She added: “Tonight shows the power of a woman – to underestimate that is to underestimate the world.”

Li-Lo – who yesterday showed off her trim figure in a bandage dress on the set of Ugly Betty (inset) – has also been talking up her relationship with Sam, plus their matching tattoos.

She told Marie Claire: “Samantha had some stars so I had some done as well.

“I am very happy. She is a fantastic person who has a great influence on everyone around her.”

Though the Mean Girls star wasn’t quite so complimentary about her dad, Michael, after his recent outburst at Sam.

He believes the DJ is only dating his daughter to boost her fame.

Lindsay said: “I don’t know what’s going on with it. I haven’t asked him any questions.

“Apparently we’ve been in the dark for so many years. We’ve gone through enough with him. Enough is enough.”

And she insists she will not speak to him again “until he decides to be a grown-up”.

Meanwhile earlier in Sam’s evening, the club’s parlour singer Raymond dedicated a cover of The Beatles’ All My Loving to Li-Lo.

And he told a newspaper: “Samantha and Lindsay are the most in love Hollywood couple I’ve ever seen.

“Every Friday night they come in here and do cheesy dancing. MC Hammer is their favorite.”

Lindsay Lohan is hoping to raise a baby with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, I can exclusively reveal.

I hear the Mean Girls star will ask one of her ex- boyfriends to provide the necessary, erm, male input.

Last month, I revealed how Lindsay and Sam were planning to “wed”. Later this year they want to publicly come out and declare their love for each other in a lavish LA bash. Having a child seems like a natural next step for the duo, who admit they are “smitten”.

A source close to the couple told me: “Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She’s been having deep discussions about a baby. She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriends to help out. They don’t want to adopt.”

Lindsay, pictured above in her new movie Labor Pains, was in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction and hopes that having a child will help her recovery.

As for potential fathers, Li-Lo is spoilt for choice. She’s dated a string of hot blokes, including Jared Leto, Calum Best, and Jude Law.
