Sexy new mom Salma Hayek has discovered her calling.

“She’s nuturing and maternal,” Salma’s friend Phillip Bloch says of her mothering instinct. The actress, 41, gave birth to daughter Valentina, 11 months, and immediately settled into nesting with her newborn baby.

The Frida star has managed to stay strong despite splitting with Valentina’s father, Francois Henri Pinault.

“Salma has survived many romances,” Phillip says. “She finds happiness in the ones she loves. She’s passionido!”

A cancelled wedding hasn’t put Salma Hayek off the institution of marriage – the newly single Hollywood beauty is creating a reality show all about tying the knot.

Hayek last month called off her engagement to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, the father of her daughter Valentina.

But she is pressing ahead with a new hour-long show themed around weddings.

Daily Variety claims Hayek and her associate Jose Tamez are in talks with TV bosses to develop the concept.

Hayek and Tamez’s TV credits to date include Ugly Betty and TV movie In the Time of the Butterflies.
