Victoria Beckham may have a glam image, but she says she carpools just like any other mom.
“I drop the kids kids off, go to the gym, come back from the gym and do some work,” the designer, 34, tells Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.
She says her three sons — Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4 — are “so different.
“I mean, you’ve got Brooklyn, who is a real boy. He’s turning into a teenager. It takes him quite some time to do his hair in the morning before he goes to school,” she says. “Then we got Romeo, who loves fashion. He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat… and he’s a real fashion lover.
“And then Cruz just wants to break dance every opportunity he gets,” adds Victoria of her youngest, who famously danced on stage during his mom’s Spice Girl show in New York City in February 2008.
Dad David is in Milan playing soccer until after this summer’s World Cup, but calls in to help his kids with homework.
“The other day, I said, ‘I’m really struggling with work here, I’ve got so much going on at the house.’ I sat down Brooklyn in front of the computer, and they Skyped for 20 minutes while he did his reading,” she tells Seacrest.
Victoria says she speaks to her husband “10, 15 times a day” and tries to travel to Milan to see him, “but my priority obviously are the kids because they’re so little. This is our home and this is where we’re going to stay.”
She also hits the treadmill every day.
“I run so quick after a double espresso, my trainers are on fire! They have sparks!” she says.
Seacrest — who worked with her for last week’s premiere of American Idol — says Victoria eats “perfectly… [she says], ‘I’m getting the steamed this, the steamed that.’”
