After only three months of dating, Amanda Seyfried, 25, and Ryan Phillippe, 36 are going their separate ways.

“They are not dating anymore,” a source reveals to UsMagazine.com. “And it’s not a big deal for either of them.”

That seemed clear on Saturday when Phillippe hit on Rihanna, 22, at the Gucci/Roc Nation brunch at L.A.’s Soho House.

“He said something to the effect of, ‘What are you doing tonight?’” a witness tells the new issue of Us Weekly.

As for his short-lived fling with Seyfried, a second insider explains, “At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did.”

Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried were spotted having an intense conversation followed by a lingering embrace at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood February 7.

Days later, Phillippe was already on the prowl: He tried to pick up Rihanna, 23, at the Gucci/Roc Nation brunch at L.A.’s Soho House February 12.

“He said something to the effect of, ‘What are you doing tonight?’ and she signaled ‘sleep,’” a witness tells the new Us Weekly. “She was trying to be polite, but she was genuinely not interested. When a couple of her friends came up to join the conversation, he just walked away.”

The actor, 36, had more luck later that night, when he was seen leaving a house party with a pretty brunette. As for his relationship with Seyfried, 25: “It’s casual. They’re friends who hang out romantically from time to time and that’s it,” says a pal. “At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did. There’s no commitment.”

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe were spotted leaving her home this morning after spending the night together. The new couple went and grabbed some organic juice before heading to Ryan’s house.

Amanda has just signed on to star in a new indie drama, helmed by ‘Scott Pilgrim’ actor Mark Webber.

Mark Webber, who played Stephen Stills in Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, is getting behind the lens for his next project: an untitled indie drama starring Scott Pilgrim co-star Michael Cera, Jennifer’s Body actress Amanda Seyfried and his own two-year-old son.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke with Webber about the project, which is currently in production in Los Angeles. The actor, writer and filmmaker revealed that the untitled drama will closely mirror his own life, focusing on a struggling single father’s relationship with his two-year-old son in the wake of the child’s mother’s death: “That’s the crux of the film … After spending so much time with my son being a father, I became obsessed with the idea of showing the most authentic father-son dynamic on screen.”

New couple Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried stepped out together in Los Angeles today! Looks like the rumors are true! I think they make a very cute couple – ICYDK is happy.

Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon married back in 1999, and split in 2006 – seven years later. Together, they had two children, Ava and Deacon, now 11 and 7.

When asked recently how he felt about Reese getting engaged again, he had nothing but nice things to say to NY Daily News:

“I’m very happy for both Reese and Jim,” he said. “I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children.”

In May, Phillippe spoke to Ellen Degeneres and said the co-parenting of their children, Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7, was going well.

“Things are great,” he told the host. “It is so important as divorced parents to keep that connection. It makes the kids feel better that the parents are interacting. … We go to all the school events together, and we’re there for each other.”

I loved them together! I think I see them like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams (maybe it’s an “R” thing)…I’m always hoping someday – somehow they’ll get back together! I’m guessing probably no….but one can hope!

As luck would have it, he lands for a client the wealthy real estate developer Louis Ross Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), who’s been accused of attacking a beautiful young woman.

Well they would make a cute couple!

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe not only got cozy at Kate Hudson’s annual Halloween bash at her Pacific Palisades, Calif., home — they also got close at another bash, hosted by CAA’s Todd Feldman on Saturday night in Beverly Hills.

Seyfried, 24, who wore a dog costume, was overheard telling partygoers, “We’re hanging out. He told me this was a good party.”

She was “flirty” all night, says a witness. “She was listening to him and talking close but no making out … she seemed intrigued by him.”

Phillippe, 36, dressed as Star Wars character Obi-Wan Kenobi, “was being extra friendly and spirited,” adds the onlooker. “I’ve never seen him in such a good mood. He looked cute and was smiling a lot.”

Says another insider, “They definitely hit it off.”
