On Feb. 27, the pair were spotted at Nada, a trendy Mexican restaurant in downtown Cincinnati for what an onlooker describes as “a cute, friendly brunch.” (Gosling is in Cincinnati filming The Ides of March with George Clooney.)
After brunch Wilde, 26, and Gosling, 30, headed across the river to spend the afternoon at an aquarium in Newport, Ky. Dressed down in casual clothes, they waited in line with the other guests and blended in nicely.
“They didn’t seek any special treatment or behind-the-scenes access,” says Rodger Pille, a spokesman for the aquarium. “They paid for their tickets and enjoyed, among other things, our current star animal, Mighty Mike, a 14-foot long American alligator.”
Last month, sources revealed that Wilde was separated from her husband Tao Ruspoli. “They have been living apart after trying for quite some time to make their relationship work,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
Wilde’s rep had no comment. Gosling’s rep could not be reached for comment.
The ‘Blue Valentine’ actress stepped out for some retail therapy in West Hollywood this afternoon.
Looks like Michelle Williams spent some alone time this holiday weekend. She’s taking a break from working on her newest film, My Week with Marilyn, which is in pre-production. Michelle has been cast to play the blond bombshell.
She usually tends to to keep a low profile and is rarely photographed out and about but it’s nice to see her looking so good. Michelle Williams made the cover of last months Marie Claire and she opened up about love, her idea of marriage and how badly her mom wanted the rumor of her dating Blue Valentine co-star Ryan Gosling to be true. She was quoted as saying:
“My poor mom really wants me to meet someone. I think she wanted to believe the Ryan Gosling rumor more than anybody.”
She’s absolutely one of prettiest stars out there right now and her career is really blossoming, hopefully she’ll find someone to share her happiness with one day.
Ryan Gosling made his first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night, and he was definitely charming! Not only did he look hot, but he also did a little singing and dancing!
I went and saw ‘Blue Valentine’ this week – and I loved it! He and Michelle Williams were amazing in it. It was sad – and hard to watch sometimes, but it was worth it. Ryan did phenomenal!
Part 2 & 3 of this video are after the jump! (It just gets better!) (more…)
January Jones certainly left little to the imagination with her stunning red Versace dress! I loved it! Other stars pictured below: Leighton Meester, Ryan Gosling, Mark Ruffalo, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Christian Bale, Colin Firth, Johnny Depp and Christina Hendricks.
Even though the graphic oral sex scene landed her movie, ‘Blue Valentine’ an NC-17 rating, Michelle Williams says she’s proud she did it.
When asked in an interview with Reuters what she thought about the film’s NC-17 rating (later changed to R after protest), Williams was defiant.
“I thought, ‘I’ve never seen that before in a movie and I’m proud to be the first. Good on us for making that happen,’” she said. “As the woman in the situation that was in question, I found absolutely nothing scandalous, tawdry or disgusting about it.”
In fact, she was offered the chance to remove the scene. No dice.
“When we shot that scene, both Ryan and Derek said to me, ‘If this bothers you when you see it in the movie, we’ll take it out,’” she explained. And to her credit, the scene stayed and the moviegoers nation-wide can see it.
Ryan Gosling says that he turns down as many movie roles as possible, because he “feels sick” when he sees himself on the big screen. Well, he’s gotta be the only one! I find him very nice to look at on the screen!
He said, “I try not to make too many movies. I get sick of myself, so I can imagine how everyone else feels. And for the two to come out at the same time, it makes me feel sick.”
He went on to reveal that he can’t seem to stop himself from acting. He added, “I don’t really like doing interviews because I don’t have any answers about why I act. It’s like a compulsion. It’s similar to people who eat and eat and eat and they don’t know why and they keep getting fatter but they can’t stop. It’s like that…And then you find yourself on a set throwing yourself off a bridge, and you’re asking yourself, ‘Why am I doing this?’ And I don’t know.”
I don’t know how he got the idea in his head that no one likes watching him in movies…
