Robert Pattinson sat down with Elle Magazine in a new interview. While promoting his new film, he also opened up about his relationship with the paparazzi, Twilight and considering himself “girly”. It’s a great interview! Love him!
ELLE: Any odd encounters with the media recently?
RP: A bunch of paparazzi were following me, and I thought the best way to deal with it was to stop my car in the middle of the street and say, “I’m not leaving, and I’m not going to speak to you anymore.” They got all pissed off because they can’t just keep taking the same picture. We were in Venice by the boardwalk, and they kept trying to get all these drug dealers to come up to the car. I was just like, Oh my God, this is insane.
ELLE: Have you ever fantasized about doing something to destroy the “Twilight image” of you?
RP: You know, when the whole thing dries up and there’s hardly any paparazzi around—I don’t know, in 15 years or something—I like the idea of just one paparazzo coming out and trying to get a picture, and I just beat the sh-t out of him. I mean—out of nowhere—when my picture’s not even worth…and I’ve spent all my money, so you can’t sue me!
ELLE: Is your idea of hell to end up at age 45 posing with Twilighters at a comic book convention?
RP: I mean, that would be totally fine—if I didn’t have any responsibilities, if it didn’t affect my career anymore. I did a couple of those after Harry Potter, when I was totally unemployed. You can have so much fun. There are so many weirdos there.
ELLE: Have you had many near-death experiences?
RP: Yes, loads. I am the worst driver in the world. Every time I get in a car, I call up my parents and say goodbye.
ELLE: What percentage of evil do you think you are?
RP: I mean, I used to think it was more—around 40. I think I was overestimating. I think it’s more like 3, which is very disappointing. CONTINUE READING! (more…)

Twilight-fans, take heart: Robert Pattinson is every bit as good-looking and thick-maned as he appears onscreen. But don’t confuse him with his brooding characters — the 24-year-old actor is surprisingly open, chatty, and quick to laugh. Pattinson talked with EW last week about his upcoming film Water for Elephants (in theaters April 22), in which he plays a traveling-circus veterinarian who falls for the show’s star attraction, played by Reese Witherspoon. He also discussed what his future might look like once he’s finished with Twilight. “You can never really predict what an audience wants or how to maintain a career,” he says, “other than doing what you think is cool.” But, Pattinson laughs, “Generally, what I think is cool is what everyone else hates.”
Filming for the final two installments of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will wrap next month, and there’s one thing Pattinson says he won’t miss — the contact lenses he’s had to wear to play Edward. “My God, I’ll be glad to see the last of those,” he says. “I actually want to get some kind of plastic explosive. I want to reanimate them into something so I can kill them. It’s so embarrassing for me — after so many years, it’s still a process every single morning. Everybody else has figured out how to do it, and then there’s two people holding me down because I can’t do it myself.”
What do you think?

According to ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart fell in love with Robert Pattinson the first time she met him.
“She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is,” Hardwicke tells Newsweek of the couple, who are now filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.
Stewart met Pattinson in Hardwicke’s kitchen in Malibu, Calif. After they kissed for the first time in the audition (on the director’s bed!), Stewart helped Pattinson get the job.
“Kristen was like, ‘It’s got to be Rob!’ ” Hardwicke recalls.
But the director made Pattinson make a promise first: “You’ve got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old,” she told the actor, who is four years older than his costar. “She’s underage. You’ve got to focus, dude, or you’re going to be arrested. I made him swear on a stack of Bibles.”
For the record, it was love at first sight for me too.
PS: The photo above is from ‘Breaking Dawn’ – the upcoming final installment in the ‘Twilight Saga’. Cannot wait!

Earlier I posted the cover of Robert Pattinson’s new Vanity Fair cover – and now I have more pictures to share! What do you think of the new pictures? (I think they’re better than the cover!)

Here’s Robert Pattinson’s new Vanity Fair cover, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. He’s not hot at all in this picture. The shirt – the hat – the alligator do nothing for him. The picture was shot by Annie Leibovitz in Baton Rouge Louisiana, where ‘Breaking Dawn’ is being filmed. Considering it’s shot by Annie, who is one of my heroes, I’m not sure why I don’t like it.
When I find more pictures I’ll post them!
What do you think of the cover? Love it or hate it?

Keira Knightley – who recently split from boyfriend Rupert Friend – has just signed on to star opposite the sparkly one, Robert Pattinson. Once I read the article below – I thought to myself – I can see Keira and Robert actually doing really well together. I bet they will have very good chemistry together (not so sure about Robert and Reese in the upcoming ‘Water For Elephants’). Don’t you agree? Don’t you think they’ll play a good couple? Kristen better watch her man! Keira fell in love with longtime boyfriend Rupert while on the set of ‘Sense and Sensibility’!
Keira Knightley will star alongside Robert Pattinson in ‘Cosmopolis’. The British actress will play the 24-year-old star’s love interest in the David Cronenberg-directed film, based the Don DeLillo novel.
The pair are expected to get up close and personal with each other in the film, which shows 24 hours in the life of a billionaire financier who squanders his fortune and his new wife.
An insider said: “Keira will get to do a lot of smooching with Rob. Some of the scenes are going to be pretty steamy.”
Marion Cotillard was originally lined up for the film’s single female role – but now Keira, 25, is on board in the movie’s second big casting change after Irish star Colin Farrell backed out earlier this year.
Director David has nothing but praise for his new leading lady.
He said: “Keira is a brilliant actress. She blew everyone away. She’s a real heavy dude. She’s as good as anyone I’ve worked with. You don’t realise it until you start to actually work with somebody.”
‘Cosmopolis’ will be Robert’s first major film after completing ‘The Twilight Saga’, in which he plays vampire Edward Cullen. He will next be seen on screen in ‘Water for Elephants’, starring alongside Reese Witherspoon in the Francis Lawrence-directed adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel.

I posted this picture last week – but this copy is much better! Here’s a clearer at the picture!
This week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly includes the first official photo from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, and here it is! Yes, that’s Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattison) sharing a bed as man and wife on their wedding night. Anticipation for the Twilight series’ fourth movie (due in theaters Nov. 18) is running high, and director Bill Condon tells EW that this was the one scene in particular he spent a lot of time thinking about. “You want to live up to people’s expectations,” he says. “People take [the movie and characters] personally. When you are interpreting something you have a certain vision of how it will be. Sometimes it is a liberal interpretation, but you hope you get to the essence of something.”
