Twilight star Robert Pattinson made it official last night, confirming to Life & Style that co-star Kristen Stewart is his girlfriend!

On the red carpet for his Remember Me movie premiere in NYC last night, Rob told Life & Style, “It’s nice” when asked, “How do you feel about your girlfriend Kristen being here to support you?”

Rob and Kristen offered even more evidence of their love for each other inside the Paris Theatre. An eyewitness with a bird’s eye view of Rob and Kristen tells Life & Style:

“Inside the theater, Rob rushed to sit down next to Kristen, who had been seated already. Kristen immediately asked him, ‘How was it?’ — referring to his red carpet entrance and interviews. He shrugged and smiled.

“As the lights went down Kristen clapped along with the crowd. She leaned over to Rob and nuzzled her head into his neck. He leaned his head into hers. They looked quietly affectionate and at ease with one another,” the eyewitness tells Life & Style. “During various scenes in the movie, Rob gave Kristen a nudge shoulder to shoulder. It was a cute gesture, perhaps to show her how into her he is. Throughout the movie, they each took sips from the same water bottle and they nuzzled into each other’s necks as they whispered and cuddled. It looked like they were kissing each other’s necks at different points in the movie — about six times. They definitely looked like a cute couple sharing quiet moments together.”

The eyewitness also tells Life & Style Rob and Kristen acted like they were the only two people in the theater: “At one point, Kristen laid her head on his shoulder and he rested his on hers. Their little signs of affection were mutual.”

After the movie premiere ended, Kristen and Rob headed around the corner from the theater to The Plaza Hotel for the Remember Me after party. Rob entered first, around 9:20 pm, with Kristen only a few steps behind him — again showing their solidarity as a couple.

Just because Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are presenting at Sunday’s Oscars without Robert Pattinson that does not mean the world’s most famous sparkly bloodsucker wasn’t invited, too.

“I think the Pattinson community is going insane,” Oscars coproducer Adam Shankman told us last night at Vanity Fair’s FEED Foundation and Hungry in America Project event. “All I want to say is, ‘He’s not available!’ ”

Yes, Pattinson is currently in New York City to promote his new romantic drama Remember Me, but…

Rob has to jet right back to Europe to continue shooting Bel Ami.

“It’s not like we snubbed him,” Shankman assured us. “It’s not like we said no to him. We asked him to be in the show. We tried really really hard to get him there. We were working on getting Summit to fly him in for the day, but eventually it became too much.”

Hollywood’s new golden couple, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted snuggling up to each other at an upscale London pub.

According to the latest updates on Gather.com, Twilight actors, the hunky RPatz and the Orange Rising Star Award winner Kristen who won global recognition after the portrayal of the brooding vampire, Edward Cullen and his love Bella Swan respectively were seen indulging in a rare bout PDAs just days after confirming news of their offscreen romance. The sexy British actor reportedly went to the pub along with his rumored girlfriend Kristen to watch his little sister sing on Wednesday and his affectionate and romantic gestures towards The Yellow Handkerchief actress took everybody by surprise. “They were very low key. You would not have guessed they were one of the most famous couples in the world,” stated an onlooker.

Although the media and tabloids have been going crazy with endless speculation about their offscreen relationship the 23 year old actor confirmed that he was indeed dating his Twilight co-star at the post-do dinner at the BAFTA’s. The celebrity couple was snapped leaving the BAFTA’s together quietly around midnight.

The mystery of their relationship status has been driving fans of the vampire saga loopy.

Brit actor Robert carried on with the secrecy at Sunday’s Bafta bash – then admitted they were a couple at the post-do dinner.

The pair at first went to ludicrous lengths to avoid being seen together by devoted fans.

They arrived separately and did not sit together during the ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.

But as soon as they were out of the glare of the public, they were all over each other.

According to Robert the cloak-and-dagger stuff is just to avoid attention.

He said: “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.”

“We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy.

“We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

Kristen, who picked up the Orange Rising Star award, arrived at the dinner with six security guards.
