There is a new bromance a-brewin’ between two of young Hollywood’s hunkiest actors — Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson. Reports have been buzzing for a while that R-Pattz has a man-crush on Zac, and now the High School Musical phenom admits to admiring the brooding, beloved actor! “He’s absolutely amazing,” Zac told Access Hollywood on the Oscars red carpet last night.

“I think he’s making great choices. I think he’s handling it all really well, but you know, he’s a superstar. He really deserves all this,” Zac continued to Access.

Both actors have received good/bad press for their full head of shaggy hair! Last night, Zac looked like he had a little bit to much product in his ‘do; however, he admitted he spent little time sculpting his spiky mop.

“I woke up with it this way,” he said. “Kinda just ran with it.”

Zac is looking forward to spending a little down time with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens in Sin City.

Vanessa is headed to Las Vegas to accept the ShoWest Star of Tomorrow Award, and Zac will be by her side for support!

“She’s trying to get me to go to Vegas,” Zac said. “I’ve not been to Vegas legal yet, as a 21-year-old. I feel like I might get into trouble.”

Too bad R-Pattz was busy filming Bel Ami in Europe. He would have made great arm candy for Kristen Stewart, who rocked the red carpet with co-star Taylor Lautner at last night’s Academy Awards.

Robert Pattinson and Life On Mars actor Philip Glenister look every bit the 19th Century gentlemen as they shoot scenes for their new film Bel Ami.

The movie is an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s 1885 novel about a peasant-born former soldier who becomes a journalist in Paris and climbs the social ladder through a series of affairs with well-connected women.

It also stars Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristen Scott Thomas.

Filming has been taking place in London since early Febuary, with scenes to be shot in Erith, Kent, this week said to include Pattinson’s character taking part in an orgy.

The racy scene will be shot at the Grade 1-listed Crossness Pumping Station, famous for its Victorian cast

Kent News reported a source saying: ‘It will be tastefully done with lots of candlelight and lace, but it will be the sexiest thing Robert’s ever been seen in and will get his female fans even more excited.’
The cast will then travel to Budapest, Hungary, to film outdoor scenes.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson made it official last night, confirming to Life & Style that co-star Kristen Stewart is his girlfriend!

On the red carpet for his Remember Me movie premiere in NYC last night, Rob told Life & Style, “It’s nice” when asked, “How do you feel about your girlfriend Kristen being here to support you?”

Rob and Kristen offered even more evidence of their love for each other inside the Paris Theatre. An eyewitness with a bird’s eye view of Rob and Kristen tells Life & Style:

“Inside the theater, Rob rushed to sit down next to Kristen, who had been seated already. Kristen immediately asked him, ‘How was it?’ — referring to his red carpet entrance and interviews. He shrugged and smiled.

“As the lights went down Kristen clapped along with the crowd. She leaned over to Rob and nuzzled her head into his neck. He leaned his head into hers. They looked quietly affectionate and at ease with one another,” the eyewitness tells Life & Style. “During various scenes in the movie, Rob gave Kristen a nudge shoulder to shoulder. It was a cute gesture, perhaps to show her how into her he is. Throughout the movie, they each took sips from the same water bottle and they nuzzled into each other’s necks as they whispered and cuddled. It looked like they were kissing each other’s necks at different points in the movie — about six times. They definitely looked like a cute couple sharing quiet moments together.”

The eyewitness also tells Life & Style Rob and Kristen acted like they were the only two people in the theater: “At one point, Kristen laid her head on his shoulder and he rested his on hers. Their little signs of affection were mutual.”

After the movie premiere ended, Kristen and Rob headed around the corner from the theater to The Plaza Hotel for the Remember Me after party. Rob entered first, around 9:20 pm, with Kristen only a few steps behind him — again showing their solidarity as a couple.

Just because Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are presenting at Sunday’s Oscars without Robert Pattinson that does not mean the world’s most famous sparkly bloodsucker wasn’t invited, too.

“I think the Pattinson community is going insane,” Oscars coproducer Adam Shankman told us last night at Vanity Fair’s FEED Foundation and Hungry in America Project event. “All I want to say is, ‘He’s not available!’ ”

Yes, Pattinson is currently in New York City to promote his new romantic drama Remember Me, but…

Rob has to jet right back to Europe to continue shooting Bel Ami.

“It’s not like we snubbed him,” Shankman assured us. “It’s not like we said no to him. We asked him to be in the show. We tried really really hard to get him there. We were working on getting Summit to fly him in for the day, but eventually it became too much.”
