Richie Sambora has broken a new record after paying $3.58 million for a house in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The guitarist shelled out $1,377 per square foot for his new home - the most ever paid for a condominium in the city.

Sambora’s 52nd-floor apartment includes three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms at The Residences at Two Liberty Place, Philadelphia’s tallest building.

New Jersey-born Sambora says, “I’m so excited to finally have a home in Philadelphia.”

The 49-year-old star also owns property in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach, California.

They’re no longer together, but Heather Locklear can still count on her ex-husband Richie Sambora.

As Locklear, 46, seeks treatment for depression and anxiety at an Arizona facility, the Melrose Place star has Sambora firmly in her corner, says a friend of the couple, who have a 10-year-old daughter, Ava.

“Without a doubt, he’s there for his daughter and her mother,” a friend of the Bon Jovi guitarist tells People. “They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much.”

Sambora, who split from Locklear in 2006 after 12 years of marriage and subsequently dated Locklear’s former friend Denise Richards, is currently performing with Bon Jovi in England until June 28. The band is due to finish their tour in the U.S. with a few East Coast dates in July.

Although he’s on the road, “I’m sure he’s available if Heather should need something and certainly for Ava,” says the pal.

Richie Sambora has offered David Beckham free guitar lessons.

The guitarist is a big fan of the L.A. Galaxy star and has urged him to give call him if he ever feels like learning the instrument.

He says, “Beckham is a good guy. He’s done so much for soccer in the U.S.

“He’s such a big name and brought soccer to a different level and its now played in schools. It’s just a pity that he doesn’t get to play more as he’s been injured.
“David should come and see me. I’d gladly give him lessons. I’d be privileged.”

Richie Sambora is set to replace Bret Michaels in the next season of TV dating show Rock Of Love, according to reports.

Poison frontman Michaels recently wrapped season two when he chose wannabe actress Ambre Lake as the winner and his new girlfriend.

Despite the first season being exposed as a fraud - the winning contestant already had a boyfriend - Michaels and Lake insists this time it is for real, and they are handing the show over to another single star.

Bon Jovi guitarist Sambora 48, has been single since his April 2007 divorce from actress Heather Locklear and a shortlived romance with Locklear’s former pal Denise Richards ended last year.

And TV bosses want to help him find love. A source tells OK!, “He’s perfect for TV. If you thought Bret (Michaels) was must see TV, you ain’t seen anything yet. Richie is going to be a train wreck looking for love.”

Richie Sambora has plea bargained his way out of a potential prison term after accepting he was guilty of drink driving in Laguna Beach, California last month.

Facing up to six months behind bars at his arraignment in May, the rocker pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher in court on Tuesday. As a result, a DUI charge was dismissed, together with a charge of child endangerment for driving drunk with his daughter and her cousin as passengers.

Prosecutors in the case refused to file the child endangerment charges, despite prompting from Laguna Beach police officials. Represented in court by Mel Gibson and Lindsay Lohan’s former attorney, Blair Berk, Sambora was ordered to pay fines and damages amounting an estimated $1,600.

TMZ.com also reports the rocker will be placed on probation for three years and must attend an alcohol education course.
