Renee Zellweger is so concerned about security she refuses to live at any of the luxury homes she owns. The actress admits past experiences with stalkers have left her mentally scarred, and she is unable to settle down in any one place for fear another crazed fan may threaten her.
She says, “I have places to live but I don’t live there because I don’t have time to get there and because I’ve had people show up at these houses so it’s not a friendly place for a girl who is single without a dog to live. So I don’t tend to go there.
“It’s scary if there is a car idling outside your house on your 40 acres in the middle of the woods at four in the morning. And as a girl your instincts are to be scared of this and what am I going to do? And that doesn’t make for a very good night’s sleep.
“Your instincts kick in and your adrenalin rushes, and you realize you can’t live there. It’s sad, but that’s how it works. It’s no big deal. It’s just a job hazard. I don’t want to own a gun, but sometimes at four in the morning when there is a car outside, you do think about it.”

I think what she needs is a big strong man to sleep with, so she won’t be scared anymore.

Renee Zellweger has branded her brief marriage to country music star Kenny Chesney foolish, calling the 128 day union the “biggest mistake of my life.” The star married Chesney in May 2005 after meeting him at a tsunami relief benefit concert in January of that year. The marriage was annulled after just four months.
Zellweger admits she went into the marriage for the wrong reasons, saying, “I felt a fool. I think I was just looking for something else. I wanted to put acting aside and sit still for a while and not worry about the stresses and the travel and the interviews. I was going through a huge life change at the time. I just wanted to stop and take time out - my marriage came as part of that change but I did take it very seriously.”

As well as a £145 ‘triple oxygen treatment’, Miss Zellweger endures a 60 minute ‘microdermabuffing’ session, described by practitioners as ’sand-blasting for the face’.
‘Renee may have perfect skin now but it hasn’t always been that way,’ said a source close to the star.
‘She discovered the triple oxygen facial a couple of years ago and has been a convert ever since.
‘They are by no means the most relaxing of treatments - Renee has to lie supine for two hours while gas is sprayed onto her face and she is wrapped in cling film - but there is a lot of science behind them to suggest that they work. And, of course, Renee is convinced that they do.
‘She really does have an even, baby-soft complexion nowadays and she looked absolutely amazing when she stepped out on the red carpet just 24 hours after her last treatment.’

Okay, so speaking of facials…Robyn (my sister) and I went into Portland last night for one. She’s getting married on Saturday, and we decided to treat ourselves to a facial. Holy crap - it was freaking amazing. It was a 2 HOUR treatment. It hurt so bad it was almost good. She cleaned out every pore (at times with a needle - OUCH)…ahhh, it felt so refreshing. I can’t stop feeling my face today.
I was on this heated bed, with these thick covers over me. She massaged my feet, arms, hands…. I had 2 different exfoliants - and a face mask. It was so good. At the end they leave you alone for like 20 minutes with the face mask on…and I totally fell asleep. It was the best $100 I’ve ever spent.
