Last week, Marie Osmond’s sixteen year old son, Michael entered into rehab. It has not been told what Michael is in rehab for. Marie said:
“My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues,” Osmond said in a statement. “As his mother, I couldn’t be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time.”

“After a non-stop succession of filming (of Showtime’s The Tudors), Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program,” rep Meredith O’Sullivan says. “He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.” Meyers’s rep adds: “Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion.”

Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen has checked into rehab, the musician announced Thursday.
“I would like Van Halen fans to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you,” the guitar player said in a statement posted on the band’s Web site.
“I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best. At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best. That’s why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110 percent that I feel I owe you and want to give you.”
Van Halen will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Patti Smith, R.E.M. and others at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria on March 12.
USA Today reports that bandmates David Lee Roth and Alex Van Halen will not attend the event, though vocalist Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony are scheduled to be there.
Last month, the band announced a reunion tour with Roth – then later canceled it. According to a report by Rolling Stone, Eddie Van Halen’s alleged alcohol problems were a contributing factor to the decision.

Troubled pop star Robbie Williams has ignored medical advice and quit rehab early, only to end up hours later clubbing with his mates.
He checked out of a rehab centre three weeks into a four week programme to battle his addictions.
The 33-year-old was then spotted out in Los Angeles on his way to a nightclub with a group of friends.
Dressed smart wearing a tie and overcoat, Robbie also showed off what appeared to be a new ‘LOVE’ tattoo on his knuckles.
It had been reported that he had been staying at the Meadows Centre, Arizona. But today it was claimed he was actually staying at the tough £700-a-night Cottonwood de Tuscan centre.
The Cottonwood de Tuscan centre is one of the harshest in the US. The 50 or so patients each have to share rooms with two others.
They have to attend group sessions as well as one-to-one sessions, have to detox for a week after they arrive and are only allowed on supervised day trips later in their stay.
Robbie’s sister Sally said today he ‘felt uncomfortable to stay in there’ but added he is going back into rehab to continue his therapy.
‘There is a process that they go through and he hasn’t completed all of the steps that they like you to do, so he is going to finish the work elsewhere,’ she said.
The singer’s spokesman is reported to have confirmed he has left rehab, but claimed he had finished his treatment.
The former Take That star entered rehab on his birthday, February 13, after getting hooked on anti-depressants, sleeping pills and caffeine.

We’re told the singer is hoping three times is a charm. The emergency custody hearing that Kevin Federline wanted has been cancelled because of the new development. There will be no custody hearing today.
Sources tell TMZ Federline is concerned for Spears’ welfare and wants her to get the help she is now seeking. We’re also told this will be Spears’ last chance – if she leaves rehab before getting full treatment, Federline will immediately go to court seeking orders allowing him unquestioned full custody of the children.
We’re told Spears showed up at Federline’s house last night and he wouldn’t’ let her in.
Sources say the kids are now in the custody of Federline and have been since last week.
TMZ has just confirmed Spears’ inpatient rehab program is supposed to last between 30 and 45 days.

Well, let’s hope that she does it for her kids sake, then.

**I took down the rehab picture…kinda feel bad for posting it**
It’s being reported pretty much everywhere that Britney has checked out of “Promises” Rehab Facility after only 24 hours. She checked in yesterday, and checked out after only hours. Apparently Britney can’t deal with rehab. One source says that on her way from the rehab center - Britney visited a tattoo parlor, only to find it was closed.
What is going on with that girl!
OTHER BRITNEY NEWS: TMZ has learned that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has received numerous phone calls to their hotline … about Britney Spears!
Sources tell TMZ that the Child Protection hotline received calls on Brit’s kids and her recent bizarre behavior. The DCFS provides a 24/7 phone number that any resident in the Los Angeles area can use to report or discuss any issue regarding children.
Britney Spears entered a rehab facility earlier this week, and as TMZ first reported, she checked out and flew back and shaved her head. Then she checked into a second facility, Promises in Malibu, on Tuesday … and out on Wednesday!
