I saw Four Christmases over the weekend, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious!  Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon were pretty unbelievable as a couple – little to none chemistry.  BUT it was funny enough that it didn’t really matter.  I really enjoyed it!  There were a couple scenes that were so funny – I was laughing so hard it hurt.  I haven’t seen Australia yet, but I’m hoping to see it sometime in the next week or so… We’ll see!

Moviegoers proved they were thankful for Reese Witherspoon this Thanksgiving weekend.

Her comedy Four Christmases (co-starring Vince Vaughn) claimed the top box office slot, earning an estimated $46.7 million in five days and $31.7 million for the three-day weekend, Variety reports.

Twilight ($39.5 million in five days) and the 3-D toon Bolt ($36 million in five days) came in No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

The James Bond thriller Quantum of Solace took the fourth slot, with an estimated $28.1 for the five days.

The Nicole Kidman-Hugh Jackman epic romance Australia grossed an estimated $20 million in five days, and $14.8 million for the three-day weekend.

on’t expect wedding bells for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal any time soon.

“Family is all we have in life, but I don’t know how I feel about marriage,” the actress, 32, reveals in the Nov. 23 issue of Parade. “Obviously, I’m not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again.”

Witherspoon split from her husband of 7 years, Ryan Phillippe, in 2006. They have two kids together: Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5. She’s been dating Gyllenhaal, 27, since April 2007.

The Academy-award winning actress isn’t sure she’ll ever be ready to say “I Do.”

“I don’t know,” she says in the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now. “I don’t think about it much…it’s important to stay open to whatever your relationship evolves into. I have a certain idea of what I thought marriage is and the whole life and [the way] things are, and sometimes it doesn’t work out that way.”

She admits that her split from Phillippe was tough.

“There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen,” she says.

“Laying blame it so easy. I don’t have time for hate or negativity in my life. There’s no room for it,” she adds. “When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: ‘What part of this do I own?’

“I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices,” she says. “All I can hope for is that I’ve learned something from it and won’t make the same choices again.”

She says she made a lot of mistakes when she was young.

“I wasn’t good about protecting myself,” she explains. “I spent a lot of my 20s just trying to make other people happy, rather than trying to figure out if doing that made me happy.”

Witherspoon also says her fame makes it hard to connect with people.

“When I first meet someone, it is so hard for me to overcome everything they’ve read about me,” she says in Parade. “It’s not fair. It’s difficult, because I’m the kind of person who just wants to hug people.”

Her next movie, Four Christmases, hits theaters Nov. 26.

When it comes to brains, beauty and bank accounts Reese Witherspoon is certainly doing very well – but it turns out that star of the upcoming comedy “Four Christmases” didn’t have the smoothest start in life.

“I had giant Coke bottle glasses when I was little and I was always the midget, the little one. No one would pick me on the kickball teams,” Witherspoon said of her childhood in Nashville, Tenn.

Well, we bet her classmates have a few regrets about that now …

“No, I’m still not very good at kickball,” she responded with a laugh.

And despite winning an Academy Award in 2006 for her portrayal of June Carter in “Walk the Line,” Witherspoon insisted that country crooning is something she only excels at when behind-the-wheel.

“I pretend that I’m a country music singer in my car and I’m really good in my car, amazing,” added the 32-year-old. “It’s just when I get out of my car, I’m not very good at all.”

Witherspoon shows off her surprising comedic streak in the Vince Vaughn Holiday flick, but beneath the family feuding and out-of-the-ordinary gift-giving, there’s a lesson to be learned –- a lesson Reese no doubt learned the hard way after divorcing Ryan Philippe last year following rumors of infidelity.

“I think you have to be honest with people because the truth is going to come out eventually,” she said. “We try to keep so much from each other and when we go home, all is revealed and I think we really have to reevaluate our relationship at that moment.”
