Rachel McAdams is in negotiations to star opposite Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard in Woody Allen’s untitled movie scheduled to shoot in the summer.
As with most Allen movies, plot details are being kept under wraps, though the setting for the ensemble is France. Spain’s Mediapro is financing and plans to sell the movie in Cannes.
McAdams’ boarding comes on the heels of Allen’s latest movie, the London-set “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger,” being acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. “Stranger” also was financed by Mediapro.
McAdams is coming off the success of “Sherlock Holmes” and has on her docket Terrence Malick’s untitled movie project, in which she will co-star with Christian Bale, Javier Bardem and Olga Kurylenko. The movie shoots this year.
The actress, repped by UTA and Magnolia Entertainment, next appears with Harrison Ford in the J.J. Abrams-produced “Morning Glory,” which Paramount releases Oct. 28.

Love her! Can’t wait to see Sherlock Holmes!

Rachel McAdams always cries on airplanes.
The actress – who has starred in a number of tear-jerking blockbusters, including ‘The Notebook’ and ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ – is overcome with emotion when she watches movies on long-haul flights and will burst into tears even if they don’t have sad storylines.
She said, “I cry at movies that aren’t supposed to be sad. It’s something about the airplane – it’s something about the altitude, but I cry in every movie I’ve ever seen on an airplane!”
The 30-year-old beauty is currently single since her split from actor Josh Lucas earlier this year.
Before Josh, Rachel dated Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling – who she met on the set of ‘The Notebook’ – until they parted ways in 2007. But the starlet can now deal with heartache and learns from each of her relationships.
She explained to OK! magazine, “It’s hard to start fresh but you have to do that with everyone. I always find that one relationship always helps out with the next.”

I just finished this book last night, and man – what a book! I’m slightly upset, though, because I know that Hollywood is going to mess this book up. I can tell – just from the previews that things have been changed. Yes, I know things are always changed when it comes to making the movie – I just hope it’s not too much!
Here is the premiere of the film, last night – where Brad Pitt made a surprise visit!
