Can’t wait for next week to arrive? Check out a sneak peek of P!nk’s Funhouse before it hits stores. Listen in full now on MTV.com’s The Leak. P!nk co-wrote each song and worked with everyone from Max Martin to Tony Kanal (of No Doubt) to Butch Walker on what she calls her “most vulnerable album to date.” With its mix of sad, thoughtful love songs and fun, upbeat, feisty rock anthems. P!nk achieved exactly what she wanted to on Funhouse. “It feels good to get people not just emoting and releasing all that energy, but getting angry and motivated too. It’s group therapy.”

Pop star Pink checked into a health centre over the summer – because she feared she was an alcoholic. The So What hitmaker, who split from husband Carey Hart earlier this year, admits she finds it difficult to have fun without having a drink because she’s such a “control freak”.
But the star, real name Alecia Moore, felt her drinking was getting out of control – so went to see a therapist to determine a course of action. She says, “A few months ago, I went to see a specialist because I thought I was an alcoholic.

“I have a problem with my vices. I’ve kicked the drugs, but every now and then I have to go out and get completely wasted on alcohol. For me it’s about losing control. I’m such a control freak it’s very hard for me to lose my inhibitions without something chemical inside me. How do you really have fun if there isn’t a little drink in you? I don’t actually know.
“I checked into Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona, in the summer and I went to see a therapist, telling him I was an alcoholic. He asked me when I’d had my last drink and I couldn’t remember – it had been a few weeks previously. I then read the AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) manual cover to cover and we talked. I realised I wasn’t an alcoholic, just someone who likes to get drunk every now and again. I’m trying to work out if that’s a bad thing.”

Pink would rather adopt a child than give birth – because there are too many people in the world already.
The singer and first-husband Carey Hart split in February.
The Trouble hitmaker insists she hasn’t given up hope of having a family – but would rather “rescue” a child through adoption than have one of her own.
She tells Star: “I don’t know if I need to have my own (children). I rescue dogs, so I would probably rescue kids. I feel like with global warming and all, why produce more? Foster parent. Adoption.”

Pink has vowed never to quit making music, after hearing how her songs helped a young fan get through a harrowing rape ordeal.
The Trouble singer admits she was once so emotionally pained that she came close to turning her back on her music career altogether.
But she was spurred on to continue when she received a letter from a 13-year-old devotee telling the story of how she was sexually abused by her grandfather following the death of her mother.
The fan, who revealed that her grandfather had also frequently raped her mom, wrote to Pink urging her to never turn her back on her music – because her songs gave the girl a reason to live.
Pink recalls, “I remember being in Paris and talking about my childhood, my parents divorcing and I started crying during an interview. I thought I was over music and I couldn’t take any more. But then, not long after, I got a letter from this girl saying her grandfather was raping her. I get chills even talking about it. I have 50 of the most insanely awful letters that remind me that this job isn’t about me.”
And Pink insists she isn’t fazed by critics who blast her for her songs’ subject matters.
She adds: “It’s crazy. Some people may say the new songs are heartache bulls**t but somebody out there is going to get through their pain a little easier, and that makes me feel better.”

Pink has declared her love for husband Carey Hart, even though they have split.
The singer, real name Alecia Moore, and Hart split in February – but the Trouble hitmaker is still fond of the motocross ace.
She says, “We are insane and we love each other and we always will, even if we are not husband and wife. He knew what he was getting into six and a half years ago. We are best friends, we really are. It’s confusing for most people but that’s the way it is.”
