Keely Shaye Smith married Pierce Brosnan in 2001, ten years after his wife Cassandra Harris passed away. Together they have two children, Dylan Thomas Brosnan (birth: 13 January 1997) and Paris Beckett Brosnan (birth: 27 February 2001).

Interesting back story: Pierce’s first wife, Cassandra was an actress, who starred in the James Bond Film, For Your Eyes Only. While she was filming this movie, her second husband, Pierce Brosnan, met James Bond series producer Albert R. Broccoli, which eventually led to his starring in four James Bond films.

She guest starred in several episodes of the television series Remington Steele with her husband Brosnan, to whom she was married from 1980 until her death in Los Angeles, California from ovarian cancer at the age of 43.

She had three children — Christopher and Charlotte Harris, from her first marriage to Dermot Harris — a younger brother of the late actor, Richard Harris — and son Sean Brosnan, from her second marriage to Pierce. Christopher and Charlotte were adopted by Brosnan after Dermot Harris’s death in 1986. Allegedly she always wanted to see her husband portray James Bond, but her death tragically occurred prior to his selection for the role in “GoldenEye”

Pierce Brosnan has settled a legal battle with a photographer who claims the former James Bond star attacked him at a California mall.

Rob Rosen alleged the Irish actor “punched, hit, struck and attacked” him when he attempted to take photos of Brosnan shopping in Malibu in October 2007.

The pair has settled out of court, with Rosen telling TMZ.com, “The terms are confidential, but both parties are happy with the outcome.”

Pierce Brosnan has already made plans for his retirement – he wants to settle on the island of Hawaii.

The 55-year-old actor has been living in the tropical paradise for the last three years with his wife Keely and their two young children.

And despite his immediate plans to return to shore to send his two sons to school, the former James Bond star admits the oasis is tempting him to take an early acting hiatus.

He says, “To get away, we bought a nice place (in Hawaii). We’ve been living there for the last three years, it’s heavenly… That’s a real kind of luxury to be able to do that. I don’t know, I might retire there. You never know what’s around the corner.”

I can’t wait for the “Mamma Mia” movie! I finall saw this play this summer- and I totally loved it. I had the worst seats, but from what I could actually see & hear it was a totally fun play.  I wonder if the movie is going to be any good.  How could Meryl Streep do wrong?

Angelina Jolie is to bed Pierce Brosnan in her new film.

The stunning actress – who has a family with Brad Pitt – will star with the former Bond actor in the sequel to ‘The Thomas Crown Affair.’

In ‘The Topkapi Affair,’ Angelina and Pierce are set to get hot and steamy together in a number of racy sex scenes.

source is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying, “Pierce is keen to turn the ‘Thomas Crown’ films into a long-running series of movies. He believes the Crown character has the potential to have the same appeal as Bond, especially with a beautiful leading lady like Angelina.”

Shooting on the movie will start in Egypt and Russia next year, after Angelina finishes filming ‘Wanted.’

Pierce, 54, is currently getting ready to start shooting the big screen version of hit musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ – based on the songs of Swedish pop group ABBA.
