Ashlee Simpson-Wentz thinks children are a “beautiful gift”.

The 25-year-old singer and actress, who has 15-month-old Bronx Mowgli with husband Pete Wentz, admits more babies are on the cards for the couple.

She said: “Children are the most beautiful gifts you can have in your life, I love being a mother. Definitely, we’d love to have more kids.”

Meanwhile, Pete – whose band Fall Out Boy are rumored to have split up – who has been looking after Bronx while his wife performs in New York musical ‘Chicago’ says he is looking for work.

He told OK! magazine, “Staying home, it’s awesome. But I can’t be Mr Mom anymore. I’ll have to go out and get a job!”

Discussing their romantic nights together, Ashlee said: “Pete’s always doing something romantic. We cook for each other, chill, watch TV.”

Ashlee also admits she is enjoying watching Bronx grow up.

She said: “Bronx is getting his own personality.”

Pete Wentz confirmed Wednesday that his band, Fall Out Boy, has broken up.

“As far as I know, Fall Out Boy is on break,” Pete wrote on his blog. “I can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again.”

Via Twitter he added, “Something would have to change in my head or my heart — not my wallet. It’d have to be real.”

Pete, who is married to Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and has a 1-year old son named Bronx, is looking toward the future. “Letting go of this giant part of my life has been hard,” he blogged. “But I want to be back on tour having my son watch me from the side of the stage.”

The band had been together since 2001. It consisted of Pete on bass, Joe Trohman on guitar, Andy Hurley on drums and Patrick Stump as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

Stump told Spin.com, “I’m not in Fall Out Boy right now.” Still, he says, “One way or another, the band will always be around.”

A representative for Pete Wentz has explained the reason behind the star’s black eye – he tripped while walking through New York City.

The Fall Out Boy bassist appeared to have suffered over his Christmas holiday after he was photographed with bruising to his face while doing post-Yuletide shopping in Manhattan. But the injury occurred when he took a tumble in the Big Apple.

A spokesperson for the star insists the injury isn’t as bad as it looks, joking that it was “the mean streets of New York that got to him”.

Wentz is currently staying in New York while his wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz stars as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago.
