The sex of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s baby revealed! Pete tells Playboy magazine in an interview that he and Ashlee are 90 percent sure they will be having a baby boy this fall.

“We know with 90 percent accuracy that it’s a boy and our due date is around Thanksgiving. We don’t have any names yet. My friend Andrew said, ‘Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator,’” Pete tells the magazine.

In the article, Pete also opens up about battling depression. “As a kid I always went to therapists; the first time was when my parents were separated on my sixth birthday, then on and off since then. I was diagnosed with ADD.”

He also speaks candidly about an overdose from an anxiety medication suffered in February 2005. “It had more to do with being depressed. I wasn’t thinking of killing myself. I’ve never really called it a suicide attempt. I just wanted my head to be completely turned off. I took a handful of Ativan.”

On Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and boyfriend of his wife’s sister, Jessica, Pete says: “I like Tony a lot. He’s a rad dude, and we’re both into Guns n’ Roses. Magazines always like to use pictures of us together: ‘Tony wears Nikes, but Pete’s checking out Balenciaga bags.’”

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz could find themselves facing another round of twin rumors.

Pete’s buddy, hip-hop artist Tyga, says that the parents-to-be are expecting not one, but two bundles of joy.

“They’re having twins,” Tyga said in an exclusive interview yesterday at the House of Hype’s pre-VMA barbeque. “They’re really happy.”

Either Tyga spilled the beans or he’s repeating an internet rumor that Pete started earlier this summer…

In June, Pete sent the internet into a tizzy when he referred to his and Ashlee’s unborn baby as “them” during an Arizona radio interview. He quickly denied they were having twins, explaining to blogger Perez Hilton that he was just trying to be vague about the pregnancy.

A rep for the couple insists only one baby is on the way. “It is not true,” the rep said of Tyga’s twins report.

Pete, 29, and Ashlee, 23, were married on May 17 at her parents’ L.A.-area home. Eleven days later the young rockers announced that Ashlee was preggers.

Pete’s band Fall Out Boy is up for a VMA tonight for Best Rock Video for the video for their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.”

Pete Wentz is already facing his first daddy dilemma. As a Chicagoan, will his baby with wife Ashlee Simpson root for the Cubs or the White Sox?

“If my dad has anything to say about it, I’m sure he will be a Cubs fan.” the Windy City native told People Sunday at the Nike & Human Race at Soldier Field in Chicago. “If my friends have anything to say about it, it will probably be a Sox fan. So, knowing me, it will probably come out a mathematician.”

The Fall Out Boy bassist has definitely been studious in his fact-finding mission about fatherhood. Besides reading books including The Expectant Father, Wentz, 29, said one famous friend in particular has been a wealth of information.

“Joel [Madden] gives me advice,” Wentz said of the Good Charlotte rocker, who’s dad to 7-month-old daughter Harlow with girlfriend Nicole Richie. “[It’s] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”

During Fall Out Boy’s performance at the Nike & Human Race, Simpson – wearing a black blouse and purple pants – hung out backstage with friends. While the band played their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” she started dancing with her arms around her belly.

So, could the song end up on Simpson’s labor playlist? “That’s probably going to be all up to Ashlee – what she picks,” Wentz said. “I couldn’t be like, ‘Oh, you’re going through labor, here’s the music I want you to listen to.’ So, it’s whatever she picks.”

That may include his own vocals. Wentz said he sings to the baby “late at night …. Baby’s gotten a couple lullabies.”

In a recent posting on Simpson’s blog, she joked that while she’s pregnant, her “closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz could soon be bound for the Big Apple.

While snagging a few Billabong swimsuits at the Boost Mobile BBQ in Malibu and perusing puppies at the Hilton Pet Lounge, Ashlee, 23, told a pal she was “bored of Hollywood and looking to find a place in NYC.”

The singer, who is expecting her first child with Fall Out Boy hubby Pete, 29, wants her baby to be grounded and believes an East Coast upbringing would make that possible.

“Plus,” the friend adds, “They’re trying to find a place in Chicago as well so Pete can be close to his family!”

After marrying Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in May, Pete Wentz is finally ready to sell his sweet Hollywood Hills bachelor pad. E! News has learned that Wentz put his three-bedroom, three-bath house on the market this week. The rocker purchased the house in 2006 for $1,625,000 and is trying to sell it now for $1,799,000.

According to Wentz’s realtor listing, the “late mid-century” house has “sweeping 180 degree views of the Valley to the Hollywood Sign.” The “secluded celebrity Hollywood Hills hide-a-way features a light and bright floor plan with fantastic architectural details, land, pool, spa & outdoor BBQ entertaining area.”

And did we mention a rock star used to live here?

When Wentz and Simpson-Wentz were engaged, they split their time between two houses, but they’ve settled at Simpson-Wentz’s more family-friendly Beverly Hills home, a nearly 6,000-square-foot place with four bedrooms and four baths.

This way, even if they were to have the now almost-mandatory Hollywood twins, they will still have plenty of space for their family to grow.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson will ask John Mayer to be a godparent to their baby when it’s born.

Pete has recently formed a friendship with rocker John - a former beau of Ashlee’s sister Jessica - and reckons he would be a good role model for their baby girl, due in October.

A source close to the couple says: “Pete and John have been spending a lot of time together lately and they get on so well.

“They are firm friends. John gets a bad rap and is always portrayed as a bad boy but he’s got a heart of gold.

“Pete and Ashlee know that and they think he would make a great godparent.”

The source adds: “But they are holding back asking him at the moment because they are not sure how Ashlee’s sister Jessica would feel about her ex having such a strong link to her new niece.”

At the Victoria’s Secret PINKapalooza back-to-school collection launch, it was a very pregnant Ashlee Simpson that stole the show.

There to support her new hubby Pete Wentz and his band Fall Out Boy, the flame haired singer rocked out backstage in a floor length dress as the band performed their classic hits together for the first time in months.

The newlyweds are expecting their first child together, and the expectant father was happy to gush to OK! about how he’s preparing for the big day.

“I’m reading all the books,” Wentz said. “The best one I’ve read so far is “The Expectant Father.” I’m talking to my dad a lot. I’m talking to Ashlee’s dad a lot. We hang out with other people who have kids. You see the world in a different way. It’s exciting.”

So how are Pete’s friends treating the new dad-to-be?

“My friends are all really excited for me,” he tells OK!. “Andy [Hurley] was the first to respond to anything. Like, I sent out the email for my wedding and Andy responded seven minutes later like ‘I’ll be there and these are the sizes of my clothes.’”
