Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has returned to the stage for the first time since his stint in prison.
The star was released from jail last week after serving 29 days of a 14-week sentence for violating his probation.
And the 29-year-old - who had missed a number of gigs while in prison - performed with the Babyshambles at The Forum in London on Tuesday night.
The singer told fans he was “a bit rusty” after his spell in prison and joked that he had developed a “massive spot” on his face.
The band’s frontman began the show by thanking “everyone who wrote a letter over the last month”.

Pete Doherty vowed to give up drugs after almost killing one of his beloved kittens.
The star admits he came close to murdering the feline - with the incident helping him to realise he needed to ditch his habit.
He says, “I got a shovel and was going to kill one of the cats. That was when I was, like, you know, ‘I’m a bit of a mess’. It was a bit of a crazy time.”
Doherty was released from London’s Wormwood Scrubs prison last week after serving 29 days of a 14 week sentence for violating his probation, brandishing a certificate showing he was free of drugs.
It’s not the first time Doherty and his cats have hit the headlines - in September last year, he was criticized for appearing to force a kitten to smoke crack from a specially-modified pipe.

Pete Doherty’s early release sure is causing an uproar.
He was released after serving only 29 days out of his 14 week sentence and the anti-drug campaigners have their panties in a bunch about it.
Upon his release, he showed the paparazzi a certificate stating that he was clean while he was on the inside.
Ex-police chief John O’Connor, who said: “They should have made an example of him, not let him go.”

The welfare fund set up to help troubled rocker Pete Doherty cope upon his release from prison on Tuesday only managed to raise a paltry $34.20.
The Babyshambles frontman was jailed for 14 weeks on April 8th for “breach of time-keeping, non-compliance of his (probation) order and using different drugs”.
Stefano Passantino, the founder of British clothing company Lastseason.com, set up a fund to help the star get his life back in order after he was freed - donating all the proceeds from stripey T-shirts sold on the firm’s website.
Doherty won an early release from London’s Wormwood Scrubs Prison on Tuesday, but Passantino admits his campaign failed to get much of a response from the star’s fans.
He says, “Sales have been somewhat disappointing - we only sold six stripey tops. We had planned to do a big presentation and get a big cheque made up, but it seems pointless for a mere 17 quid and change. I wish Pete better luck selling records.”
Passantino has sent a cheque for the amount to Doherty’s management, which is expected to be forwarded to an undisclosed charity.

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has been granted early release from prison - he will walk free on Tuesday.
The Babyshambles frontman was jailed for 14 weeks last month for “breach of time-keeping, non-compliance of his order and using different drugs”.
But the star is now set to be released after serving just 28 days of his sentence - which has been halved and a further 18 days deducted as part of a scheme introduced last summer to ease prison overcrowding. He also gets another two days taken off for time spent in police custody.
Doherty was forced to postpone a solo show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 26th and scrap his appearance at the Love Music Hate Racism benefit in the British capital on April 27th.
But his release means his planned performance at Britain’s famous Glastonbury Festival in June should go ahead as planned.

Pete Doherty’s aristocrat landlord has denied he is to evict the troubled rocker from his English country mansion.
Doherty - who is currently serving a 14-week sentence at a London jail - rents a large house in Wiltshire, England, but was reportedly facing being left homeless after the property’s owner found the house in a state of disrepair during a routine inspection. The star was reported to have drawn all over the walls and floors, and let his pet cats run wild inside, fouling the interiors. But Doherty’s landlord, the Earl of Cardigan - who also rents a property to the star’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss - has denied he has terminated his tenancy agreement.
He says, “I have not evicted him.”
Doherty has been removed from rented accommodation on several occasions - in 2005 he was kicked out of his North London flat after neighbours complained about a series of loud, all-night parties. Just a year later, he was removed from his home in East London for daubing graffiti on the walls and racking up more than $20,000 in unpaid rent.
The Babyshambles frontman was jailed for 14 weeks on April 8th for “breach of time-keeping, non-compliance of his (probation) order and using different drugs”.

Incarcerated British rocker Pete Doherty has appealed to a die-hard fan to help clear him of allegations he has taken drugs in jail - after promising he was “clean” in a letter to the devotee.
Last week, British newspaper The Sun published photos of Doherty inside London’s Wormwood Scrubs jail, claiming the star has continued using hard drugs while behind bars.
But in his reply to one fan’s mail, Doherty writes, “All the best from The Scrubs. Tell ‘em I’m clean, countin’ the days until the next freedom gig! Yours, Pete D.”
The Babyshambles singer was jailed for 14 weeks earlier this month for “breach of time-keeping, non-compliance of his (probation) order and using different drugs”.
