Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has waged war on Perez Hilton after he published a story alleging she started a drunken fight with her husband Pete Wentz.

The gossip-monger reported on Sunday that the pop star was involved in a public argument with the Fall Out Boy bassist at the one-year anniversary of his Chicago, Illinois bar, Angels & Kings.

Hilton cited multiple witnesses who informed him that Simpson-Wentz had been “completely wasted” when she approached her husband at the DJ booth, forcing him to leave his party.

In the entry, Hilton also asked, “Are they on the brink of divorce?”

But the 24 year old refused to allow the reports to go unaddressed, taking to her Twitter.com page to blast Hilton.

The singer first proved her affection for her husband by writing a personal message to him: “I had so much fun with ur (your) parents last night. Thanx (sic) for dedicating the DJ set to me. Love you more magic. I miss u (sic) already.”

She then directed notes at Hilton, ranting: “When all you do is make up untrue stories – look in the mirror. Do you even feel human? Karma is a b**ch. Your story is WAY off.”

Hilton then fired back his own defense, insisting, “I don’t wanna (sic) name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels & Kings. I’m not wrong.”

But the singer had the last word in the matter, replying, “WRONG. My husband is an amazing DJ and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin (sic) fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur (your) own life.”

Despite a report on PerezHilton.com that said Mariah Carey kept everyone waiting for her for a Macy’s commercial shoot, Martha Stewart has taken to her official Twitter page to defend the singer.

She writes: “by the way mariah did not keep us waiting as reported by perez hilton the shoo[t] is on schedule thanks to [director Barry] sonnenfeld’s complete command.”

Perez’s sources had said that Mariah had pulled a diva turn by keeping fellow celebs Martha, Donald Trump and Jessica Simpson waiting for her by being hours late to the shoot.

Right before going to bed last night, Perez Hilton and John Mayer shared a heated exchange on, well, Twitter of course.

“From the heart,” Mayer writes to Perez, “what you experienced these last 24 hrs is a profound lack of control. You can’t blog the world, my friend.”

The argument consisted of over a dozen saucy back-and-forth posts. Perez tirelessly defends his honor while Mayer suggests better ways Perez could have handled the situation with Will.I.Am, going as far as to cite rules of the Israeli martial art, Krav Maga.

Mayer: Perez Hilton’s video statement is so long that by the end of it his cut healed.

Perez: That’s real funny! Ha ha! And I’m sure you also think I “deserved” to get hit!

Mayer: I also want to train you in an old martial art called “Never Call A Black Dude a F**got Jitsu.”

Perez: Dude, I get it. I GET IT. But it’s not f**king funny to me. Karma would be me losing my site and going bankrupt or what have u.

And as if the whole world coming down on the sassy blogger weren’t enough, Mayer tops off his beef by calling Perez a “dumb sh*t.”

UPDATE: Perez Hilton has responded to GLAAD’s statement regarding his use of “vulgary antigay slurs,” telling TMZ:

“I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a very scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent. While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I would just hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you. I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me.”

As collateral damage in his public squabble with will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, blogger Perez Hilton has managed to irk the folks at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation with his use of the F-word — no, the other F-word.

In his video rant to will.i.am posted yesterday, Perez, himself openly gay, declared, “I don’t need to respect you, and you’re a f-g. You’re gay, and stop being such a f—-t.” Not exactly the kind of language GLAAD was hoping to hear.

“These are vulgar antigay slurs that feed a climate of hatred and intolerance toward our community,” said Rashad Robinson, senior director of Media Programs at GLAAD. “For someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is ‘The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,’ is incredibly dangerous.

“It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting antigay attitudes.”

GLAAD is hoping that Perez will see the error in his ways and make amends. “We have reached out to Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this antigay slur,” said Robinson. “And we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story.”

Last night, Lindsay Lohan must’ve been extra bored. Especially with all of the fuss surrounding raunchy photos of someone who looks like Miley Cyrus in a compromising position.

She took to her official Twitter page and showed off a topless photo of herself from her Fornarina photo shoot.

And if you think for a second that she wasn’t doing it for attention, think again. While tweeting this photo, she added “Perez Hilton” to the caption to draw attention to it.

Maybe the Fornarina people aren’t feeling like they got enough bang for their buck?

Her Twitter account has been suspended for “strange activity” since. Hmmm.

No pictures today I’m afraid, I forgot my camera yesterday. So, I’m a little upset today, Perez Hilton is a mean man. I don’t know what I did to piss him off but the last few months he has launched a bit of a tirade against me, I can understand why he’d write “MESS” across my head on a picture of me being carried out of an awards ceremony drunk out of my mind, but some things he say baffle me. He insinuated I was smoking during my pregnancy, which was not true, ask anyone who knows me, I didn’t touch a cigarette or a drink for the few months that I was pregnant, he also insinuated there was something suspicious about me having a miscarriage, which is just wrong, but I’m not going to go into how painful that whole episode was. Lily used to be Capitol Records’ “golden girl” but lately she’s just been slipping. She’s known these days more fore being a tragic train wreck than a musician. She knows it too. That must hurt!
And, now, it seems she’s been replaced.
Replaced by none other than a Perez fad, Katy Perry, which we first introduced you to last year.
Katy also performed at our kick ass party in Austin during SXSW this past March.
Well, according to reports, a music industry insider has said, “Lily Allen is peeved at Capitol. She feels like they’ve shoved her aside to focus all their energies on their new girl of the moment, Katy Perry.”
But the real insult, according to the source, came when the label “replaced a photo of Lily Allen with one of Katy Perry” in its office main lobby.
Ha ha ha!!!!!
Lily is starting to look like washed-up goods.
The only thing that can save Allen now???? If she makes a good sophomore album!

I don’t know why this has annoyed me so much. If I’m honest, it’s probably because part of it is true these days I am more known for being a train wreck than a musician, and it does hurt. I’ve been working really hard on my new record; I don’t think it sucks by the way. I haven’t released a record for two years, so it’s totally understandable that people don’t write about my music anymore, however it’s not fair to say that I’m washed up and it’s not fair to make up these feuds between people. Not everyone’s lives are fuelled by egos and jealousy, mine is certainly not. There was a time when Amy came out, that I was a little jealous, she has an amazing voice and writes incredible songs, what singer wouldn’t be a little jealous of that, but I’d never let those feelings become unhealthy. And this is not meant in any way but I’d never heard of Katy Perry before I came here a few days ago, I didn’t even know she was on Capitol, who by the way are not my label. I am signed to Regal Records in the UK and Capitol distributes my records here in America. I don’t feel like I’ve been shoved aside for anyone, I haven’t got a record out yet, so why would anyone be focusing their energies on me when there’s nothing to work on! I have never been a “golden girl” and I think I visited Capitols office in New York once, about a year a half ago, I very much doubt they had a picture of me in their lobby. The point I’m trying to make is these stories are just not true. If the word reportedly exists in a story it means that it’s pretty much a lie, just so you know, it means they can’t prove what they’re writing and their covering their backs. Perez doesn’t do this even he just writes things that aren’t true with no shame about it, and it’s sad. I read these posts on his website about anti – bullying campaigns and all these good causes, and while I used to enjoy reading his site it seems to me he has become what he hates so much a bully. He bullies young, successful females; people usually bully people they’re jealous of so I’ll let you come to your own conclusion on that one. Anyway, I’ve got nothing against Perez personally, I don’t assume to know him, what I do know is though. Is that he has a HUGE crush on my old manager, who I fired with a few months ago. Maybe this is his way of getting in his good books, or maybe it’s because I turned down the opportunity of going on his TV show when he asked me to, who knows?
Anyways, I hope you’ll all like my new material, if not, looks like I’ll have to find something else to do.
