Pamela Anderson showed up at Funky Mojoe’s in South Woodford, Essex, England last night, and was paid over $10,000 to do so. Pamela was hired to mark the second anniversary of Funky Mojoe’s which claims on its website to be ‘the most talked about bar in Essex’.
Pamela is in London to promote her appearance as the Genie in the Lamp in Aladdin. The 43-year-old actress says she can’t wait to return to the stage. She claims that she’s not interested in returning to TV. ‘I feel that, at this point in my career, I don’t want to do another television show. I don’t want to do a film. I’m really enjoying what I do now.
‘I have two homes in Malibu, a home in Canada that I’m building, and I just love pouring my heart out into this part of my life.
‘Being halfway through my life, I think we start feeling less invincible and we start thinking more about the important things. I’ve always been involved and now I feel like this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis.’

Do you think Pamela still has “it”?

Pamela Anderson flew to Montreal to unveil her newest vegetarian campaign for PETA Thursday, but Canadian officials denied a permit for the event at the last minute, claiming her nearly-nude ad is sexist.
Anderson, 43, poses in a bikini with her body marked off in “rump,” “ribs” and “breast.” The ad’s logo reads, “All Animals Have the Same Parts.”
“In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens,” Anderson said in a statement released to UsMagazine.com. “In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas — is that next? I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical.”
A Montreal official explains the reason behind turning down the permit: “It is not so much controversial, as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”
Snipes PETA senior vice president Dan Mathews: “I think that city officials are confusing ‘sexy’ with ‘sexist.’”

Pamela Anderson will perform in the opening episode of Australia’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
The former ‘Baywatch’ babe – who made it to the final six in the US version of the reality dance show – spoke of her delight at heading to Australia with her dance partner Damian Whitewood.
She said: “It is one of my very favorite countries in the world to visit – great people, great beaches, great veggie food and everything I love. “And this time I am coming back with my dearest new Australian friend, the man who took on the task of teaching me how to dance. It is really a thrill.”
Damian was equally enthusiastic about teaming up with Anderson again. He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be back in the dance studio working with Pam. And to be gearing for our Australian appearance on ‘DWTS’ is making it even more special as I haven’t been or performed at home in a while.”
Pamela and Damian’s sizzling chemistry has drawn speculation they are more than dance partners, and although they refuse to discuss whether or not they are romantically involved, Pamela admits she likes the “tension”.
She added to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: “I kind of like the tension. I’m not with anybody right now, it’s nice to have that romance.”

If Pamela Anderson’s shapely allure ever fades, at least she’s been cast as shimmering, scantily clad twins for a new London art exhibition. The life-sized polished bronze statue, titled ‘The Ecstatic Autogenesis of Pamela,’ is part of British artist Marc Quinn’s series showcasing people “who have transformed their appearances,” the UK’s Coventry Telegraph reports.
The former ‘Baywatch’ and recent ‘Dancing With the Stars’ vixen told the Guardian that she loves Quinn and his work. “I didn’t even ask what he wanted to do with me. I would have done anything.” She likes that the finished product is “raw, not perfect. I think that’s what makes it interesting. Sexy isn’t perfect.”
Of his inspiration, Quinn said, “What Pamela has done is use surgery and transformation within the mainstream cultural context, whereas everyone else in the show has struck out on their own.”
