Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong are still going strong with their new romance, but one person who’s not as happy about it is Owen Wilson.

The actor, who went officially off-again with Kate a few weeks ago, isn’t taking his ex’s rebound relationship too well, according to clubgoers who spotted him at club G in Philadelphia.

“Owen looked pretty upset,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “He was drinking and sulking until last call.”

Besides drowning his sorrows in alcohol, the 39-year-old, who attempted suicide in August following his split with Kate, has turned to little brother Luke for support.

“Owen’s been spending time on the phone with Luke,” a Marley & Me set source tells OK!. “There are a lot of people making sure they’re there for him.”

What’s worse, Kate’s new fling didn’t just take Owen by surprise, but his friends as well, who expected the heartbreak to be the other way around.

“We all though it would be Owen breaking Kate’s heart, but it turned out to be the other way around,” a pal of the two tells OK!. “It’s sad because deep down they love each other — but they’re too lethal a combination to last. And Kate has her son, Ryder, to think of.”

Owen Wilson has been getting over his split from Kate Hudson by partying with scantily-dressed women.

The actor – whose relationship with the ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress ended earlier this month – visited a strip club in Philadelphia last week, where he drank beer and enjoyed several private dances.

An onlooker said: “He spent four hours at Rick’s Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood. He watched a game, drank beer, and when a parade of 75 half-naked girls caught his eye, he asked for dances from several and definitely had a preference for blondes. He tipped at least one with a $100 bill.” One blonde beauty – who bore a striking resemblance to Kate – then spent some private time in a VIP area with Owen.

She told the New York Post newspaper: “If he had any problems, you’d never know it. He didn’t seem upset in the least. People tell me I look like Kate, and it didn’t bother him at all.”

Owen – who is currently in Philadelphia shooting new movie ‘Marley and Me’ – separated from Kate last week after the pair realised they weren’t right for each other.

It is the second time they have split, with the first break-up occurring in June 2007.

In August 2007, Owen was hospitalised after an attempted suicide bid and the pair soon rekindled their romance.

Kate is now said to be dating cycling star Lance Armstrong.

Despite a flurry of engagement rumors, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson – Hollywood’s most notorious on-again, off-again couple – have called it quits, less than two months after rekindling their romance in Miami.

The end of their erratic courtship (they began dating in September ‘06) comes amid erroneous reports that the pair were engaged, fueled by photos of Hudson wearing a Tiffany & Co. ring (it was a prop!) both on-and-off set of her film Bride Wars, which she’s filming in Boston.

“It was a pretty bad breakup,” says a Wilson pal. “Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn’t want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him.”

Since the split, Hudson, 29, and Wilson, 39, have each been spotted letting loose. On May 9, Hudson and Bride Wars costar Steve Howey, 30, visited Boston’s Liberty Hotel bar, Alibi. And on May 11, Wilson dropped by N.Y.C.’s Upstairs with two women.

“He was pretty chummy with the ladies … he was certainly doing some sweet talking,” according to an onlooker. “He looked happy to be there hanging with them.” The late-night outing was followed by a visit to Butter the next night, where he chatted up a sexy blonde. Says a Hudson source: “She feels dumb thinking it was so serious.”

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are not getting married, despite reports in the British media.

“She’s definitely not engaged,” a rep for Hudson tells Usmagazine.com. A rep for Wilson, 39, also confirms the rumors are wrong.

The reason for the false uproar? Hudson, 29, was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Boston.

“She’s shooting a movie called Bride Wars, which explains the ring,” adds her rep.

Still, the on-again couple “are at a good place with each other,” a pal told Us earlier this year.

“Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly,” Hudson said in the January issue of Vogue. “And I wish him beautiful things — health and everything that he desires in life.”

Owen Wilson is in no rush to get hitched. At least that’s what he told his guy pals on April 25 at Miami’s Nobu, where the actor ended a story by saying, “Hey, man, I’m never getting married!”

Luckily he’s dating Kate Hudson, 29, who apparently isn’t eager to tie the knot either. “My main focus is Ryder,” Kate has said about her only child with her ex-husband, rocker Chris Robinson, 41. “I’m in a really nice place.”

In fact, Kate loves giving Owen, 39, his freedom and encourages him to hang out with his buddies. “She really wants Owen to maintain relationships with his friends and his family,” an insider tells Life & Style. “Kate isn’t putting any pressure on him. He has never been with a girl who is so independent and laid-back.”
