Jared Leto definitely hasn’t aged in the past 20 years!

Jared Leto is either a vampire or has access to a secret fountain of youth, because the man literally hasn’t aged in the past two decades. He’s still that blue-eyed, baby faced, handsome guy he was back in 1994, when he first graced our screens at Jordan Catalano in My So-Called Life.

Last night, he celebrated his Oscar win for his role as a transgendered AIDS patient in Dallas Buyers Club, and he looked darn good doing it! Not sure about the hair, really, but he manages to make it work.

FFN_Oscars_PressRoom_KM_030214_51345613

One of the best awards of the night was the Best Supporting Actress trophy, which thankfully (no offense to Jennifer Lawrence – we love her, too!) went to Lupita Nyong’o. She’s become Hollywood’s new It Girl this year, and for good reason – she’s fantastic, and looked amazing, to boot!

In case you missed last night’s ceremony and want to know who the big winners are, you’re in luck. Here are a list of the major categories and who/what took home the prize:

Best Actress: Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine

Best Actor: Matthew McConaughey for Dallas Buyers Club

Best Supporting Actress: Lupita Nyong’o for 12 Years a Slave

Best Supporting Actor: Jared Leto for Dallas Buyers Club

Best Picture: 12 Years a Slave

Best Animated Feature: Frozen

Director: Alfonso Cuarón for Gravity

Adapted Screenplay:  12 Years a Slave

Original Screenplay: Her

Production Design: The Great Gatsby

Cinematography: Gravity

Documentary Feature: 20 Feet From Stardom

Editing: Gravity

Make-up and Hairstyling: Dallas Buyers Club

No big surprises there, but no major complaints, either! What did you think?

Jennifer Lawrence took a tumble on the Oscars’ red carpet

2014

If Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t fall down during an awards ceremony, did the ceremony ever really happen? That’s what you have to ask yourself – but luckily, not today. Jen didn’t disappoint during last night’s Oscars – in fact, she didn’t even make it inside the Hollywood & Highland Center for the show to begin.

Don’t forget, it was only last year when poor Jennifer fell walking up the stairs to accept her award! Gotta love her!

Ellen DeGeneres took an Oscars selfie we’ll be talking about for years

ellen oscars selfie

Ellen DeGeneres helmed the Oscars last night, and besides the award winners, there’s one thing everyone’s been talking about: her ultimate superstar selfie with some of the biggest names in the business. As you can see above, Ellen managed to get everyone together for a nice little picture. We’ve got our Jennifer Lawrence, our Bradley Cooper, a little bit of Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey, a cut-off Jared Leto, a sneaky Lupita Nyong’o and her brother Peter and even some Angelina Jolie!

The picture popped up on Ellen’s Twitter page last night and actually crashed the site momentarily as everyone furiously reblogged. It’ll be hard to beat that selfie, that’s for sure! As Ellen herself posted, “If only Bradley’s arm was longer. Best photo ever.”

Oscar Nominations are here!!

12yearsslave1

It’s Oscars time!!! The Golden Globes are behind us, and today the Oscar Nominations have been announced. This year it really seems like there is no CLEAR winner, as it has in the past. This year, the movies nominated for Best Picture – really are – ALL amazing movies. Movies nominated for Best Picture are: “American Hustle,” “Captain Phillips,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Gravity,” “Her,” “Nebraska,” “Philomena,” “12 Years a Slave,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” In my ever-so-humble-opinion, I think it should go to TWOWS, but I haven’t seen several other movies in this category. Sure “Nebraska” looks good, but it kind of looks boring as hell.

I’m glad to see “Gravity” up there for BP, because it was definitely one of the year’s best movies.

More Arrivals at The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards Arrivals in LA

“Gravity” and “American Hustle” lead the pack with 10 nominations, but “12 Years a Slave” is close behind with nine.

But Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” notched nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor, so it’s anyone’s game! The “shock” from the nominations is probably the fact that Leo was nominated for Best Actor, and Tom Hanks wasn’t (for “Captain Phillips”).  I think Leo deserves it!

OK: PS….. Jonah Hill was nominated for an OSCAR. And it’s not even his first time! He was nominated for ‘Moneyball!’ With that said, he deserves it. He was brilliant in TWOWS.

Here are the nominees!
