Everyone wants a piece of Lindsay Lohan. Since her release from jail, media outlets have been vying over the coveted first interview. Did Oprah win out over everyone else? Rumor has it, Oprah has been granted that first interview.
Lindsay Lohan may finally get the chance to tell her side of the story, when Oprah’s final season kicks off on September 13th.
While a deal has yet to be finalized, RadarOnline reports that negotiations between Lohan and Oprah are “going well.”
“Things are heating up in a good way,” one source said. “Definitely some good conversations. We’re crossing our fingers it works out for Oprah’s last season.”
While Oprah may want Lindsay, Lindsay has to decide if she wants Oprah. “Several entities are being considered, and no decision has been made and won’t be for awhile,” added the source.
A rep for the Oprah Winfrey show revealed that “nothing has been planned,” regarding a Lindsay Lohan appearance.
I hope she does do Oprah, I’d totally watch it.

Oprah Winfrey is teaming up with reality TV producer Mark Burnett to find the next big TV personality. “Your Own Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star” will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network. This will take place sometime in January, the same month as OWN’s TV launch.
Mark Burnett had this to say about this latest project with Oprah.
“The landscape and acceptance of ordinary people on television is widely accepted … Much in the way ‘American Idol’ finds unknown people (to be recording stars) there’s no reason we can’t find someone who deserves their own show,” he said.
And Burnett also gives advice to those who are considering trying out for a shot on the new reality show.
“Try to be authentically yourself. Show energy,” he said. “Donald Trump gave me the greatest advice with ‘The Apprentice’: Find people with the greatest energy source … you’ll be hard-pressed to show me someone who has their own show on TV who is not energetic and who has charisma.”
So if you have a great energy source and lots of charisma, here’s your chance to be Oprah’s next big TV star. Hey, she made Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil stars! You can go to Oprah.com and upload your own tryout video and viewers can watch and vote on them.

Simon Cowell tells Oprah he is getting bored with American Idol and that is one of the reasons he is moving on to different projects. With as much money as he makes, I could fake it.
“After awhile, you start to go on automatic pilot. And there were too many times, Oprah, where I was sitting there bored, and I thought, ‘The end of the day, the audience doesn’t tune in to watch me being bored.
They deserve more than that. But I can’t hide it when I’m bored. I just can’t fake it.’ “

Lady Gaga performed at the Met Gala Monday night, but not without some prodding by Oprah Winfrey.
Gaga was said to be suffering from stage fright, presumably because she was set to perform in front of nothing but celebrities, but Oprah saved the day.
She hid in her dressing room and had to be coaxed out to play for the exclusive crowd.
A source said, “She literally wouldn’t come out. Friends tried, Warner Music executive Lyor Cohen tried, no dice. Eventually, Vito Schnabel came over and got artist Terence Koh on the phone to talk to her, which helped. Koh and Oprah were the ones who finally coaxed her out.”
