Keith Powell, who plays Toofer on NBC’s much loved comedy 30 Rock, is keeping his fingers crossed that talk show powerhouse Oprah Winfrey will make an appearance next season.
“That’s the rumor,” He told OK! at Bravo’s A-List Awards. “Last I heard, NBC was really, really trying to make it happen. I don’t know if it will happen yet or not.”
But fans of the show aren’t the only ones excited by the prospect of Oprah’s big 30 Rock debut. “There are very few people in the world that if I meet I would hyperventilate over and that would be her,” Keith confessed.
With a slew of famous faces having stopped by in the past, we wondered if Ms. Winfrey would play herself or some kooky character. “She’d have to play herself,” Keith added, “I think we’ve talked about her so much she’d have play herself and then you’d have to watch me loose all bowel movements.”
OK! even had a story line on hand for them — Oprah should play Keith’s love interest. “Ah, please! Write a letter. I’ll tell you who to write the letter to- Tina Fey. You need to write her and give her that story line!”

Tom Cruise has defended his infamous couch-jumping appearance on The Oprah Winfrey show in a new interview with the US chat-show host.
The Hollywood actor was widely ridiculed in 2005 when he repeatedly jumped on Oprah’s couch and pumped his fist in an exuberant profession of his love for then fiancée Katie Holmes.
But in Friday’s interview, the second part of which will be shown on US TV on Monday, the 45-year-old said he would not go back in time to change his actions.
“That was a moment, and it was real, and I don’t know if I would [do it differently],” he said.
“I really don’t.”
But in the interview, recorded at the Colorado home he shares with Holmes and their two-year-old daughter Suri, he admitted regretting his apparent criticism of the medicated treatment of depression in comments made in the weeks after his original Oprah interview.
“When you look at something, it’s an individual’s right to make a decision on what they’re going to do with their life,” he said.
Cruise also defended his Scientology faith to the chat-show host and insisted it allowed for the “respect [of] the religious beliefs of others”.
And he laughed off rumors his marriage was a publicity stunt and that Suri, two, was not his daughter.

Tom Cruise’s couch jumping days are over.
The actor, 45, filmed the second-part of his Oprah Winfrey interview in her Chicago studio Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
“He was really calm and collected,” said Diane Andonovski of Toronto, Canada.
During show breaks, Cruise even talked to audience members and seemed “so sweet and so sincere,” Sally Maddy of Duluth, Minn., said. “He’s even cuter in person.”
Cruise was joined by immediate and extended family members, including wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri, who just turned 2, audience member Jenny Hume of England said.
He appeared on the show in honor of the 25th anniversary of his break-out film Risky Business. His friends and colleagues — including David and Victoria Beckham, Dustin Hoffman and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett — also appear on the show.
Part one of Winfrey’s interview — taped from his family’s home in Telluride, Colo. — airs this afternoon.
He is expected to open up about whether he thinks he has come under attack unnecessarily and how he has been accepted by his Holmes’ family, as well as his infamous Matt Lauer interview.
