‘Hunger Games’ filming is finally underway! The movie adaption of the enormously successful books is filming in North Carolina.

Here are the FIRST SHOTS from the set!

While we’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence in costume as Katniss Everdeen before, we’re getting a new look at her — this time in more casual clothes, likely for scenes before her character enters the Games.

We’re also getting the first look at Liam Hemsworth as Gale, the usually dirty-blond Aussie sporting some much darker locks for the role, and Willow Shields – who will play Katniss’ younger sister, Prim.

So far no sightings of Josh Hutcherson, who plays Katniss’ other love interest, Peeta.

I am gonna get in trouble for this one – but I haven’t read the books. Have you? Are they good? Like ‘Twilight’ good? (That was a joke… kinda.)
