Inside Octomom’s Crazy World‏

itw_octomom_cover.jpg

This week’s In Touch showcases the first-ever magazine cover featuring an exclusive photo of “Octomom” Nadya Suleman and six of her eight newborn babies, plus 12 never-before-seen photos from inside their home.

Those who have been inside Nadya’s new four-bedroom house in La Habra, Calif., paint a disturbing picture. “These babies should be placed in foster care,” Gloria Allred, an attorney for Angels in Waiting, which provided free nursing service to Nadya, tells In Touch. “There they would receive the individualized care that the babies need and deserve.”

Nadya may soon get the chance to prove she is a good mom on her own reality television series. According to an insider, a deal is in place for her to be filmed 24/7 for a reality TV show as soon as sons Jonah and Josiah are released from the hospital. “It’s about Nadya trying to raise 14 children while looking for love,” the insider explains.

Octuplet Mom: 15 Hospital Staffers Fired for Snooping Through Her Files

fp_2003414_rev_suleman_nadya_031509.jpg

Fifteen employees were fired for peeking at the medical records of octuplet mother Nadya Suleman, a Kaiser Permanente spokesman said Monday.

“We always provide training on the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality,” said hospital rep Jim Anderson. “We knew from the time she was admitted to the hospital in December, this case would attract attention. Numerous training sessions were held to remind people of the need to keep the information confidential.”

Eight other employees at the hospital in Bellflower, Calif., also were disciplined.

Anderson said there’s no indication that any of the information was leaked to the media but that “this was human nature and curiosity that got the best of people.”

Suleman, 33, has six of her eight babies at home in La Habra, Calif. (Baby number 7 is due home soon, but baby 8 may have to stay in the hospital for another month before he’s healthy enough to leave.)

Is Octo-Mom on Angie’s Payroll?

obsession.jpg

Angelina Jolie has a soft spot for those in need, including Nadya Suleman and her 14 children!

Star has learned the actress is seriously considering donating thousands of dollars to the overwhelmed 33-year-old single mom, whose brood includes 2-month-old octuplets.

“Angelina is worried about the best interests of the kids,” explains a source. “As a mom of six, she knows how chaotic and costly raising a big family can be.”

And while the money would no doubt help Nadya pay for everything from clothes to schooling, Angelina, 33, does have some misgivings about the gift, notes the source.

“She doesn’t necessarily approve of Nadya, and she doesn’t want to turn the situation into even more of a circus.”

Octo Mom’s New Publicist Quits: “This Woman Is Nuts”

spl81496_009.jpg

Octomom Nadya Suleman is without a publicist — again.

Victor Munoz tells Usmagazine.com that he quit as Suleman’s rep Friday night.

“It just got to be too much,” he says. “It’s pretty much a free for all over there right now. They are freaking out right now.

“Not to sound arrogant, but those people depended on me for everything,” he continues. “You have no idea what I’ve had to do for these people.

“Nadya got real greedy. This woman is nuts,” he adds. “This I can say: what ultimately destroyed the business arrangement was personal reasons.”

Munoz — who plans to meet with his lawyers Monday to go over the terms of his contract and confidentiality clause — did not go into further detail.

Suleman’s first publicist, Joann Killeen, stepped down after her firm received over 100 graphic e-mail and voicemail threats.”They’d put me in the wood chipper and throw me in the bottom of the ocean and hope I die,” Killeen has said. “We’ve gotten her through the worst part of it and now they are putting their venom and anger toward us.”

Check out pictures of the octuplets.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating.

Octo Grandmother “Opts” for Adoption if Daughter Can’t Afford Babies

spl83580_003.jpg

Angela Suleman — grandmother to the infamous octuplets — says she wouldn’t be against her daughter, Nadya, putting the babies up for adoption if she can’t afford them.

“It’s very hard to say because they are my grandchildren. However, if I could know the future…if I could see that she would not be able to take of them financially…I would opt for this,” she says in an interview with The Insider that airs tonight.

Nadya has no job, and supports her children with food stamps and disability income.”I just hope she will [be able to care for them], because she will never have them adopted,” Suleman continues.

The grandmother — who is facing foreclosure in the home she shares with Nadya and her other six children — says she’s put her own life on hold and wants to “live a little.

“I’m ready to go visit Europe again and see my friends,” she says. “I love my grandchildren, but when she asks me, like tonight, can she go visit the other babies…I said no because I made plans already. I need to change. I can’t just live for my daughter, I have my own life.”

On Tuesday, Nadya told TV host “Dr. Phil” McGraw that she fears the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in California won’t release the infants.

“What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her,” McGraw tells The Los Angeles Times.

Currently, all eight Suleman’s newborns continue on room air and no longer need intravenous supplemental nutrition. All eight of the babies are gaining weight and continue being fed donated pasteurized breast milk.

“At one month old, the babies are doing well,” said Mandhir Gupta, MD., Neonatologist at the medical center. “They are alert and responsive to the care our nurses are providing them. In fact, we are slowly introducing them to nipple or bottle feeding a few times a day, and they’re getting better and better at coordinating sucking, swallowing and breathing. Our nurses can’t help but smile as each in turn gets stronger.”

Cher on Octomom: “Come down to planet earth with the rest of us!”

cher.jpg

Cher tells ET her thoughts on Nadya Suleman, the mother of octuplets, “I’m so negative against her. She just shouldn’t have any of those children as far as I’m concerned. I know that’s going to get me in a whole mess of trouble, but I don’t know where her mind is. She says the strangest things. I don’t think she’s doing drugs, but she acts like someone who is not of this world. It’s like, ‘hello come down to planet earth with the rest of us!’”

Dr. Phil: Octuplet Mother Fears Hospital May Not Release Babies

mrgraw-suleman-b.jpg

Nadya Suleman told TV host “Dr. Phil” McGraw on Tuesday that she fears the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in California won’t release her eight newborn babies.

“What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her,” McGraw tells The Los Angeles Times.

Suleman, 33, has taped two episodes of McGraw’s syndicated show, the first of which airs today. Part two airs Thursday (check your local listings).

Suleman, a single mother who already had six children before giving birth to octuplets Jan. 26, lives in southern California, with her mother in a three-bedroom house that is set to be auctioned off on March 5. She owes more than $23,000 in back payments, a source tells Usmagazine.com.

She has no job and is on food stamps and disability income for three of her six older children.

“If you don’t have plans in place you need to say so, so we can help….People need to know you get it,” Dr. Phil tells her at one point during their interview.

She replies, “I think I’ll fully get it when they are ready to come home.”

McGraw — who has interviewed Suleman and her mother Angela at length — said in a statement to Us that he believes Suleman “is very loving.”

But he added, “I see somebody that has such a Pollyanna disconnect with real-world realities, and what she’s getting ready to face, it’s like she’s on a Disney ride.”

Still, he urged, “We can’t turn our back on this woman without turning our back on these children.”
