“Nip/Tuck” stars Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon are returning for the upcoming fifth season of the hit FX series with nice pay bumps, sources said.
Additionally, Paula Marshall is set to appear next season in four episodes of the plastic surgery drama, playing the love interest of Sean McNamara (Walsh)……
Walsh and McMahon, who plays Christian Troy, are understood to have each received seven-figure bonuses in addition to the standard 5% yearly salary increase, which brings their total compensation up to about $3 million, or about $125,000 for each of the 22 episodes of “Nip/Tuck’s” upcoming season. That makes for a 25% per-episode fee increase compared with what the two were paid for Season 4.
The cash bonuses, referred to as a gift, came from the network, not Warner Bros. TV, which produces the series with Shephard/Robin Prods., sources said. FX and WBTV declined comment on the matter Tuesday, as did the actors’ representatives.
“Nip/Tuck,” from creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy, had a strong fourth season, capped by McNamara and Troy’s move from Miami to Los Angeles in the season finale.
Production on the show’s fifth season began Monday.

Last November, it was reported that Joely Richardson was leavnig Nip/Tuck (one of my freaking FAVORITE shows eva).
British actress Joely Richardson is set to return to the cast of hit drama NIP/TUCK after putting her career on hold to care for her sick daughter.
The star temporarily quit the show last year (06) to spend time with her teenage daughter, DAISY, in London.
Daisy was diagnosed with circulation problems in her legs when she was born and she has been in and out of hospital recently.
Richardson feared she’d have to give up her role in the plastic surgery drama for good, but producers are desperate to have her back.
She says, “I never actually left the series. I just needed time out for a personal reason, which they very kindly gave me and it was just three episodes… It wasn’t a dramatic exit on any level. “I’m definitely contracted for a fifth season of the show. We’re just talking about it now.”

That’s what Rosie said during a break on the set of “The View” today. She said she’s been offered the female lead of the show since Joley Richardson is leaving for a year. She said that she’d play the character of Dawn Budge, who was introduced in a guest role this past (the show’s 4th) season. Dawn would be the owner of the plastic surgery center and do things like “sneak Cher in the back door” and then hire paparazzi to take pictures. Rosie added that it would be a 15-week shoot in LA. She didn’t say if she was going to do it, but it sounded very much like she’s leaning towards it. No word on how this could affect her schedule with “The View,” but Rosie has said that she’s only signed on to co-host for one season of Barbara Walters’ morning talk-fest.

Nip/Tuck has found an actor to play the “infuriatingly fit” plastic surgeon and it’s none other than infuriatingly fit Saved by the Bell grad Mario Lopez! A source confirms that Lopez will appear in the coming season’s third episode when his hot doc character has a homoerotic encounter with Christian (Julian McMahon) at the gym. Then again, aren’t all gym-based encounters homoerotic?
Wow, this is…. an interesting idea. But I love Nip/Tuck, and it can do NO wrong in my book.
