Sources say that Paris Hilton wants to have a baby. I just think she wants to copy Nicole Richie’s life, or have it for herself, even.

She is definitely looking to follow in Nicole Richie’s footsteps by settling down with Benji Madden, Joel’s twin brother.

Nicole is said to have accused Paris of copying everything that she does. A source said, “Nicole was already upset when Paris started dating Benji, it all happened too fast for her liking. Then Nicole couldn’t go on tour with them because she had to stay home and look after her young daughter Harlow. She is furious Paris is out there gallivanting with her boyfriend and his brother. If Paris gets pregnant, Nicole is going to go ballistic. She thinks Paris copies everything she does.”

Last year, Paris talked about having children, saying that she was preparing her body so that she could conceive:

“I want kids next year, so I’ve got to get my body ready,” she said.

Nicole Richie has denied a report she plans to marry her boyfriend Joel Madden this summer, insisting the rocker hasn’t even proposed.

Richie and Madden, who have baby daughter Harlow Winter Kate together, were said to be sending out invites for their impending nuptials as early as next week.

But a spokesperson for The Simple Life star says, “They are not even engaged.”

At a recent Balenciaga party in L.A., Richie dished about her next project: a maternity line. The style maven told WWD that the design house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere is the main inspiration behind the fashion-forward line. “I wore so much Balenciaga during my pregnancy,” she reveals, including the brand’s motorcycle leggings and scarves.

Boyfriend Joel Madden’s shirts also made it into her pregnancy wardrobe. “When my shirts got too short, I wore Joel’s with a jacket on top,” she says. And her nine months spent carrying baby Harlow Winter can’t help but have taught her exactly what she wants in her own collection, which will feature designs for every stage from early-days to almost-due. “My line will be about making women look and feel good at a really emotional time. It’s about showing your best self, not your tired, worn-down self,” the seemingly inexhaustible mom reveals.

Though the legendary Chateau Marmont Hotel is rarely referred to as a family-friendly place, it was the perfect setting for Hollywood stylist Andrea Lieberman’s Marie Antoinette-themed baby shower. Nicole Richie, Ellen Pompeo and Gwen Stefani were among the glam guests who gathered inside the hotel’s Bungalow 1 for afternoon tea, hosted by Margaret Maldonado and jeweler Mouawad. “Andrea is like a New York version of me, but way cooler and more talented,” said California girl Stefani (in Diane von Furstenberg). “The fact that we’re pregnant at the same time is such a gift.”

Nicole Richie is reportedly set to design her own line of maternity clothes.

‘The Simple Life’ star - who gave birth to her first child, daughter Harlow, with fiancé Joel Madden on January 11 - has been meeting with a top clothing company to discuss plans for the range.

A source close to the 26-year-old beauty said: “Nicole is determined to bring out a line of clothes, with the focus being on maternity wear. Her line is going to be clean and simple, with emphasis on clothes that flatter the figure without drawing attention to the fact the wearer is pregnant.”

Nicole recently revealed she hated her body while pregnant with Harlow, saying her full breasts made her feel “sl***y”.

She said: “I like wearing vintage hippy see-through shirts that aren’t sl***y on me because there is nothing to look at. Now I have boobs so I can’t really wear it because it sends out a different message.”
