Lenny Kravitz is refusing to confirm or deny he’s the man who was secretly engaged to Nicole Kidman between her marriages to Tom Cruise and Keith Urban.

The actress recently stunned fans when she revealed she had briefly accepted a marriage proposal before she wed Urban last year in Vanity Fair magazine — but she refused to name names.

Kravitz and film producer Steve Bing were the most likely candidates as Kidman dated them exclusively after her marriage to Cruise ended.

But Kravitz insists the identity of the mystery fiance will remain a secret, as far as he’s concerned.

He says, “I keep that to myself. I feel like that is private and it’s between the two of us, so I just leave it there.

Nicole Kidman = Box Office POISON

nicole_kidman_invasion.jpg

No matter how much money she’s being guaranteed for movies these days, Nicole Kidman had better start thinking twice about her legacy as an actress.

Her new one, “The Invasion,” opened Friday and bombed quite brilliantly. It took in a little less than $2 million. The price for this disaster? Over $100 million. And even though it co-stars James Bond actor Daniel Craig, nothing can make “The Invasion” into a hit.

What’s worse is, no one wanted even to see it in theatres. At boxofficemojo.com, a poll among subscribers showed almost no interest in “The Invasion.”

Of course, the marketing didn’t help. The movie looked like “The Stepford Wives II,” another Kidman disaster. And in many of the ads, Craig’s name wasn’t even mentioned. It was just Nicole Kidman, looking beautiful, running among dead eyed weirdos.

The public smelled a rat, Warner Bros. punted, and the rest is history.

Kidman was riding high in her career at one point with hits like “The Hours,” for which she won an Oscar, “The Others,” and “Moulin Rouge.”

But lately her choices of projects have been disastrous. From “Stepford” to “Bewitched” to “Fur,” “Birth,” “Dogville,” “The Interpreter,” and her misguided work in “Cold Mountain,” Kidman has made one bad decision after another. What it shows is a lack of direction, and no one to manage or guide her.

There may be hope, though: Kidman and Ralph Fiennes have just signed on to star in “The Reader” for Weinstein Co. But in the meantime, Kidman will appear in Baz Luhrmann’s epic “Australia” and sooner, Noah Baumbach’s “Margot at the Wedding.” She needs not only a commercial hit but a critical one to re-establish her position as the best actress of her generation.

Keith Urban: Rehab saved my marriage to Nicole Kidman

keithnicolerehab.jpg

Country music bad boy Keith Urban has admitted his marriage to Nicole Kidman was about to collapse when he sought treatment last year for alcoholism.

The 39-year-old singer, who is a former crack cocaine addict with a reputation as a womaniser, checked into the Betty Ford Centre last October for a three-month rehabilitation programme

He says that several years before his June 2006 marriage to Nicole, he underwent treatment for cocaine abuse, but he never properly dealt with the root causes of his troubles.

And after he finished making his latest album, he discovered he had “this big monkey on my back”.

In an exclusive interview last week, he said: “When I was making the record, I was able to stay focused on that, and so I was in a relatively good place. When the record was finished, though, it all hit the fan.

“My wife was away. She hadn’t really been away before, and it came as a shock to me to be alone and not prepared for it: alone with this (addiction) that I had, this big monkey on my back.

“I think everybody was a little unsure what to do, other than my wife, who really took the reins. The way my wife did it and the place in which I was ready to surrender came together in such an alignment that it allows me to sit here today and be where I am.

“Not going in would have cost me my career at the very least, and my marriage would have been gone, anyway. That real cleansing and surrendering everything is what was really needed for me.

“I realised:’This is the crossroads of my life. If I want a life, this is the time to take charge’.”

“It sounds strange, but I’m glad it happened. There’s no doubt that what it’s done for our marriage has been truly divine. It has brought my wife and me to a place that may never have happened for us.

“It was just time to take care of my life.”

Urban’s astonishing admission follows weeks of speculation about his marriage.

The actress is known to have misgivings about her husband’s hellraising reputation.

During their stormy engagement, he assured her he was ready to settle down.

But friends remain worried about their very different lifestyles. Nicole is a glamorous leading lady from a middleclass Australian family, while Urban grew up on a farm and revels in his scruffy ‘Urban cowboy’ image.

Their romance followed her divorce from Tom Cruise, and other failed relationships, and she is said to be terrified that Urban is incapable of serious commitment.

Nicole’s body hasn’t changed since she was 15.

Nicole Kidman has just turned forty but she’s not scared about her looks changing as luckily for her she’s had the same figure since she was fifteen.

The ex-Mrs Tom Cruise celebrated her birthday last week and put her slim figure down to not worrying about what she eats.

“I’ve always had this long, lean body type and I haven’t changed since I was 15,” she told Closer magazine. “I eat healthily, but I also love pies and chocolate.”
