If there was any doubt that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, who broke up back in June, are now back together, the pair are now not making any attempt to hide their rekindled romance.

Earlier today, Nick and ‘Ness grabbed lunch together at Manhattan comfort food fave Duke’s. And witnesses tell OK! the couple were holding hands over the table as they ate and chatted. “They’re definitely back on,” one witness tells OK! about their behavior.

Last weekend, the former Mr. Jessica Simpson and the former MTV VJ made headlines by locking lips at an L.A. club.

Sorry, Newlyweds fans: Nick and Jessica won’t ever get back together.

Asked at Saturday’s Los Angeles Lakers 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament if they’ll ever reunite, Drew Lachey told Usmagazine.com: “On the record or off the record? No on both.”

Nick and Jessica – who split in 2006 – recently ended relationships around the same time. Nick and Vanessa Minnillo called it quits this summer, shortly before Tony Romo dumped Jessica before her 29th birthday in July.

When told that people want to see Nick and Jessica back together, Drew told Us, “I think everybody who was a fan of The Newlyweds wants the same thing.”

Jessica recently told Vanity Fair she hadn’t spoken to Nick “in years.” But she said their MTV reality show helped her realize the importance of good relationships.

“It made me understand what marriage is, what love is, what commitment is,” she said. “In all honesty, I believe it did not affect our marriage. Because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish.”

First, Nick Lachey told People there was very little truth to reports he might get back together with his newly single ex-wife, Jessica Simpson.

Now comes bad news for fans hoping Simpson’s ex-boyfriend John Mayer will heal her broken heart.

“Absolutely not,” Mayer’s pal Rob Dyrdek, 35, star of MTV’s Fantasy Factory, told People Monday at Ryan Scheckler’s X Games Celebrity Skins Classic” in Coto De Caza, Calif.

Mayer and Simpson dated on-and-off for about a year before splitting in 2007. Dyrdek says he “wouldn’t rule out” a reunion, but adds, “I’m just saying [I don't think so].”

Earlier this month, Mayer found himself in the middle of Simpson’s breakup with her boyfriend of a year and a half, Tony Romo, when reports surfaced that he had been texting the pop star, 29. In May, a source told People the exes “have been in touch.”

Mayer observers may remember Dyrdek, a pro skateboarder, as the apparently drunk friend the singer carried out of L.A. club MyHouse June 14. Mayer Tweeted later that night that he was with Dyrdek at the hospital as he had his stomach pumped.

It was a prank.

“He’s one of the most incredible people I have ever met and a thoroughbred genius,” Dyrdek says of Mayer. “He just likes to [mess] with the paparazzi. He’s like, ‘I want to do so much more crazy [stuff],’ and he settled on carrying me out of the club.”

The faux-scandal will be part of Fantasy Factory. “I did a whole episode on what it’s like to have a psychotically famous [friend],” Dyrdek says. “Just the whole idea of how out of control it got. To where my parents’ local news was like, ‘Local celebrity almost dies.’ ”

The practical jokers later devised a creative way to tell Dyrdek’s mother they were sorry. “We recorded a song called ‘Rob’s Mom’ that apologizes to her and all of the girls in the office.”

Bad news for any Newlyweds fans still holding out hope that Jessica Simpson will be reuniting with her ex-husband, Nick Lachey now that they’re both single — Jess’ mom Tina Simpson took to her Twitter page to shoot down that popular rumor.After a fan Tweeted to ask, “can you nix the all the gossip of her and nick getting back 2gether? please reply, thank you,” Tina made the fan’s wish come true and responded.

“NOT happening! Great man just not in the cards! ” Tina replied.

Jessica and Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo split right around her July 10 birthday, while Vanessa Minnillo and Nick called it quits a few weeks ago as well.

Vanessa Minnillo, who, after months of speculation, recently broke up with Nick Lachey, has wasted no time getting out there on the singles scene.

An insider tells Life & Style she saw Vanessa at the Reebok Easytone party in Beverly Hills on June 23. “She certainly wasn’t moping in the corner or looking upset over her breakup at all,” says the insider. “I saw her talking to three or four really cute guys. She totally seemed to be flirting and didn’t look like she was upset or anything.”

The insider says that the former Total Request Live co-host appeared to be having fun hanging out with a girlfriend. “Vanessa doesn’t strike me as the type of girl that will remain single for long. She looks like she’s on the prowl and that she’ll stop at nothing to get her prey.”

A source close to the couple tells Us: “It was an amicable break-up. They walk away from it still friends.”

Adds another source, “They still care about each other very much. This is what’s best for both of them.”

The couple hooked up in 2006 — the year after Lachey split from wife Jessica Simpson.

In 2007, Minnillo told Us she wanted to have kids with Lachey: “I always say I want three boys and a girl, but at the end of the day, I just want healthy kids.”

Susan Boyle won over millions of our hearts after we heard her sing on “Britain’s Got Talent”.

Apparently hiding under a rock, Nick Lachey said he and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo have never even heard of her.

He said, “I have never heard her sing” with Vanessa chiming in, “We have never heard of her.”

Chances are, she’s never heard of either of you, either, so that’s fair.

The couple might have a chance to get to know Boyle. The 48-year-old — who was favored to win Britain’s Got Talent but came in second place after a shocking upset at the May finale — has been invited to perform on the upcoming U.S. edition of the show, America’s Got Talent, which premieres on June 23. She is also in talks with Simon Cowell to begin recording her first album.

When told that Boyle’s voice is amazing, Lachey said to Us, “Then we would probably buy her album!”
