And The Nominees For The MTV VMA’s Are…
The MTV VMA’s are coming up soon. September 12, 2110 to be exact and the nominees have been announce. Lady Gaga has been nominated for an impressive 13 VMA’s.
Eminem is a close second with 8 nominations for his album Recovery.
Lady Gaga had this to say about her 13 nominations.
“I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history,” she said. “Ironically, I’m even more proud it’s an unlucky number: 13.”
“A long time ago the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard, together we changed the rules,” she went on. “God put me on Earth for three reasons: to make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous. Thank you, MTV!”
Eminem also had a statement, although his was, er, a little less enthusiastic.
“Apparently MTV doesn’t care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?! I mean, I’ll be there, but don’t expect me to be nice about it.”
Ke$ha recieved 3 nominations and was beyond thrilled. Here’s what she had to say.
“Are you serious?” she shrieked down the line. “Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! I’m gonna pee myself.”
No really, Ke$ha, please don’t pee yourself.
