Mischa Barton has fueled reports she is unhappy with her new movie You And I, after reportedly refusing to promote it.

She initially sparked rumors of her dissatisfaction when she failed to attend the film’s premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this month.

She insisted she “was never due to go”, but now You And I director Roland Joffe cannot locate Barton in London to complete promo duties in the British capital.

He tells New York gossip column PageSix, “She hasn’t pulled out of interviews, she’s pulled out of everything… Her room is here, she is here, but trying to get the two together has just been impossible. We just don’t know where Mischa is.”

In the film, Barton plays a Russian lesbian who falls in love at a t.A.T.u concert.

Mischa Barton is developing her own line of handbags.

The former The O.C. star has created a range inspired by “vintage” designs she has discovered while travelling the world.

The bags, which hit stores in Barton’s native U.K. from July 2nd, will all feature a flower pattern designed by the actress herself.

Mischa Barton is set to go down the rabbit hole in a creepy new adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland.

The former The O.C. star has signed on to star in Simon Fellows’ Malice In Wonderland opposite Danny Dyer.

The film, which is described as a modern twist on the children’s classic, will begin principal photography in the U.K. next month.

The creator of a range of ‘butt-lifting’ underpants wants to help Mischa Barton hide her cellulite.

Andrew Christian boasts his Flashback Pants can lift and flatten any backside, and tuck away any unsightly fat.

After checking out controversial pictures of Barton in a bikini in Australia, which the actress insists were doctored to make her look awful, Christian is convinced she could use his help.

He tells the New York Daily News, “She needs them, with all the cottage cheese cellulite on her *ss.”

Barton’s spokesperson, Lisa Perkins, is adamant someone tampered with the photos, which have appeared in magazines and newspapers and on websites all around the world, to suit their own financial gain.

She previously told the New York Daily News, “Those photos are doctored. I’m not saying she’s perfect, nobody is. But they’ve given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old.”

Mischa Barton will always have Paris – the city, not the Hilton.

The former O.C. star has set up house in the City of Light, making it easier than ever to check out the glitz and glamour at the Cannes Film Festival.

“I’m living in Paris right now so I thought I would come down for a few days,” the British-born actress told People at the Chopard and Alberta Ferretti Opening Gala on Wednesday night. (She has two movies at the festival, including You and I.)

So why Paris? “No reason,” the 22-year-old said, shrugging her shoulders, “I’ve just always wanted to move there. I’m enjoying some time off.”

Since arriving in the south of France on Tuesday, Barton said she’d been doing some press. But mostly she’s just enjoying the Riviera vibe.

“I’ve been coming here since I was 12, so I know the deal,” she said. “It’s always good fun.”

Maybe a bit too much fun.

“It’s pretty manic, ” Barton admitted. “I’m hoping it calms down a bit.”
