Minnie Driver is breaking her silence – sort of – when it comes to the father of her baby.
First off, it’s not the man, San Francisco musician Craig Zolezzi, who’s been named in several press reports.
“Craig’s not the dad!” the 6-months-pregnant star told the U.K.’s Independent Thursday. “He’s my great friend and he’s been so cool about it.”
So who is it? The British-born Riches star – who is in the U.K. promoting her second album, Seastories – will only say that he’s English and “sort of in the same business.” (She also revealed that they have no plans to marry in the “near future.”)
The former Good Will Hunting star (who previously credited the Easter Bunny for her ever-growing bump) also said she’s decided to keep the mystery going as long as possible.
“I want to shield the baby’s dad as much as I can because it wasn’t his choice to get roped into all this stuff,” she told the paper – adding that her first pregnancy way “unplanned” but “very happily received.”
“It’ll come out in time,” said Driver, who has a craving for a cheese sandwich every day at precisely 11:30 a.m. “There’ll be some other bump people will be interested in and I’ll have this baby and get on with my life.”

Actress Minnie Driver, may be in the early stages of pregnancy, but it’s never too soon to get advice. The best tip she’s received so far?
“Do your Kegels,” she tells OK! at An Evening with The Riches at The Paley Center for Media this weekend. “They’re very useful pre- and post-birth.”
She says most of her advice comes from friends and family and not the large amount of pregnancy books on the market.
“There’s not that many [books] that I’ve really enjoyed,” she says. “There are a couple really beautiful ones that are fantastic, but I’ve listened to a lot of stories from women and I think that’s been very helpful – from my mother, my sister – that’s been good.”
Wearing an Isabella Oliver maternity dress to the panel discussion of the F/X show, Driver admits she is enjoying one aspect of pregnancy – the shopping!
“It’s fun, even though you know it doesn’t have a very long shelf life,” she says. “Since I’ve been pregnant it’s my very favorite store, but I try to be strategic in the stuff that I bought. I’m lucky because I’m tall so I can pull off the 12 extra pounds I’m carrying.”
As for how Driver will be as a mother, her Riches co-star Todd Stashwick tells OK!: “Minnie is one of the most big-hearted women you’re ever going to meet, just generous and loving and she’s going to be a really good mommy.”
If the show gets picked up for a third season, Stashwick says her pregnancy is coming at a perfect time. “By the time that we would be shooting season three, the baby will be out and about and the world will never know that Dahlia [Driver’s character] was pregnant.”

Minnie Driver has vowed to continue working on hit TV show The Riches even though she is expecting her first child this summer.
The 38-year-old insists she would “absolutely” love to keep her role in the program, which tells the tale of two con-artists traveling across the U.S. The show originally aired in 2007 but returned for a second season earlier this year.
And Driver is convinced her pregnancy won’t affect the commissioning of a new series, confirming that she would love to reprise her role for a third time.
She tells People.com, “Yeah, my God, it’s just the best job ever for all of us, I think. I mean, I really think I can say that for all of us because everyone keeps saying it. Everybody loves it.”

Minnie Driver has grown weary of attending Hollywood parties because guests use her pregnancy to reveal their own delivery horror stories.
The actress admits overbearing mums put her off party snacks and her own natural labor plans by insisting on telling her all the gory details about their own terrible deliveries. Driver, who is five months pregnant with her first child, was sickened by one recent tale at a pool party.
She explains, “I had my little nacho and my glass of cranberry juice and this woman came barreling up to me and she said, ‘Hi… I think I have the same doctor as you. I got the worst story, I gotta tell you…’
“And she then proceeded to tell me how she was pretty much split from nape to (butt).
“I was like, ‘Why are you telling me this and putting me off my nachos and my pregnancy.’ It was insane. Her whole thing was, ‘I just want you to be informed.’ It’s really strange, it’s like people want to tell you their horrific birth stories.”
