Michelle Pfeiffer contemplates Catwoman

Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer would love to play Catwoman again.

The 51-year-old actress donned the leather catsuit for 1992 movie ‘Batman Returns’ and would be willing to reprise the sexy role.

She said: “Oh yeah, it would be really fun. That was really fun. I had a good time.”

However, Michelle admits producers of the latest franchise of ‘Batman’ films may not want her because they would like a new actress for the role.

Talking about whether bosses would bring back Catwoman for a new movie, Michelle said: “I think they like to get a new face for the different characters, and I understand it.”

Despite accepting she won’t be asked to return to the franchise, Michelle recently revealed she wants to give whipping lessons to the next Catwoman.

She said: “You would think they’d bring her back. They better… They should! I would be there for the consult. I can give the whipping lessons. I did my own whipping.”

Both Angelina Jolie and Rachel Weisz have been mooted for the role, but Michelle refused to choose a favorite saying only they would “both would be awesome”.

Cheri is an adaptation of the 1920s novel by French author Colette. Colette (Pfeiffer) set her book in 1920s Paris, where the young son of a wealthy courtesan is educated in the ways of love by a middle-aged friend of the man’s mother. When he is forced to give up the six-year relationship after marrying someone else, the young man can’t forget her and retreats into a fantasy world.

Michelle Pfeiffer wants to star in a Grease remake with Jessica Simpson

Michelle Pfeiffer is desperate to be a part of a remake of the seventies movie musical, Grease. If she gets her way, she wants Jessica Simpson to play the part of Sandy.

The actress is desperately embarrassed about her performance in the ill-fated Grease 2, and wants to erase all memory of it by making a new version of the original film. Pfieffer is thrilled by reports Simpson is being touted to play prom queen Sandy Dumbrowski – and has her eye on the role of the comical Principal McGee.

She says, “It’s a great idea, and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy. She would be good.” Pfeiffer adds of her own Grease experience, “I hated that film (Grease 2) with a vengeance and could not believe how bad it was. At the time, was young and didn’t know better… I hear it’s a cult movie now.”

Doesn’t she know that Jessica Simpson is box office poison?
