Are Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter giving each other a second chance?

According to RadarOnline, the two were spotted kissing, and loving on each other at Beverly Hills Peninsula Hotel on Tuesday night. (You can see a picture of them together here!)

“Michael and Jennifer were seated at a dimly lit corner table, sipping wine. It was a very romantic setting and definitely looked like a date,” an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com.

“When Jennifer got up to use the ladies, Michael squeezed her hand, looked up at her and she smiled. And when she got back, they held hands on the table for a bit,” the eyewitness says. “At one point, Michael leaned across the table and he and Jennifer kissed — a make-out kind of kiss, not a friendly one. They both looked really happy.”

Michael and Jennifer play brother and sister on the Showtime drama. They eloped back on New Year’s Eve in 2008, but divorced two years later after rumors surfaced that Michael cheated with Julia Stiles, who guest starred on season 6.

Now sources claim Hall was devastated by the split, and has always loved Carpenter. Even though their divorce finalized in December, could the pair be giving it another try?

Earlier this week, it was rumored that Julia Stiles was the one who came between Michael C. Hall and his wife, Jennifer Carpenter. Now, she’s saying that their divorce had nothing to do with her.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Stiles said: “Although I too prefer to keep my private life private, I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter.”

Stiles has also appeared on the hit series alongside the pair.

One website quoted an anonymous source as saying Hall and Stiles had had “a lot of chemistry and seemed to be extra cozy with each other”.

But according to Stiles, she had “sbsolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer.”

She added: We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy.

Entertainment Weekly’s EW.com has learned that after nearly two years of marriage, Dexter stars Michael C. Hall, 39, and Jennifer Carpenter, 31, are getting a divorce. A joint exclusive statement to EW from their representatives read: “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.” Both reps add that the split was amicable.

Jennifer Carpenter is treasuring her time with husband and “Dexter” co-star Michael C. Hall – especially in light of the news that the actor has been undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

“He’s great,” Jennifer told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura “Dish of Salt” Saltman at Access’ 4th Annual “Stuff You Must” Golden Globes gift lounge at the Sofitel Hotel in LA. “Very lucky [he] caught it early – it’s 98 percent curable, so it’s basically choosing the treatment and sticking with it.”

Now, she said the star is on the road to a full recovery.

“After two rounds of treatment, he was in complete remission. He’s just finishing up to make sure it stays that way,” Jennifer said. “He wanted to let everybody know and he’s been receiving so much support and good thoughts. That’s been the kick that he needed to just finish it up.”

And she added that the illness has brought the couple — who play brother and sister on the hit Showtime series — closer together.

“It’s always felt like an opportunity to get closer and I’m just so impressed with him and anyone who’s had to go through it,” she said, becoming visibly emotional. “Every second’s special with him, it sounds corny but it’s true. I’m very lucky.”
