Witness: Michael Jackson’s Doctor Hid Propofol Before Dialing 911

Dialing 911 wasn’t the only concern of Michael Jackson’s physician as the entertainer was dying, a new report says.

In between performing CPR – but before calling for help – Dr. Conrad Murray stashed away vials of drugs and an IV bag apparently containing a sedative later blamed for Jackson’s death, according to the Associated Press.

The AP report quotes from witness statements that paint a dramatic picture of Jackson’s final moments – and which could play an important role in the prosecution of Murray, 57, who is charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter.

Jackson aide Alberto Alvarez told investigators that last June 25 he rushed to Jackson’s room and saw the star in his bed with an IV attached to his leg. Jackson’s mouth and eyes were wide open and there was no sign of life, according to the AP.

Murray performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while Alvarez took over CPR. At one point, Murray halted CPR so he could collect rubber-topped vials, which he told Alvarez to put in a plastic bag, then into a brown canvass bag, according to AP.

Murray also had Alvarez remove an IV bag containing a milky white substance from a stand and put it in a blue canvas bag, according to AP.

Two days later, Murray directed police to a closet in Jackson’s bedroom where they found propofol – which is milky white – and other sedatives in a bag, AP reports.

The Los Angeles coroner later ruled Jackson’s death was caused by a propofol overdose.

Murray’s attorney Ed Chernoff denies his client hid propofol. He says Alvarez told about hiding the medicine in his second police interview, but made no mention of it in his first interview.

“He didn’t say any of those things, then two months later, all of a sudden, the doc is throwing bottles into the bag,” Chernoff tells AP. “Alvarez’s statement is inconsistent with his previous statement. We will deal with that at trial.”

New Michael Jackson album in November

TMZ has confirmed the Michael Jackson estate has signed the biggest deal ever in music — worth up to $250 million with a guarantee of $200 million.

The estate made the deal with Sony Music Entertainment. According to the Associated Press, the contract is for 10 projects over seven years.

One album will debut in November, which contains never-before released recordings. We’re told Jackson left enough material for at least three albums of fresh material.

A source tells TMZ the royalty rate on foreign sales is the key to the deal — and 2/3 of the sales of MJ records traditionally have been outside the U.S.

And we’re told Sony gets a two-year extension for the right to distribute the Michael Jackson catalog — to 2017.

The deal was brokered by John Branca and John McClain, executors of the MJ estate.

Jermaine Jackson’s 13 year old son purchased a stun gun online – Blanket was his intended victim!

TMZ has learned members of the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services paid a visit to the Jackson family home last night to check on Michael Jackson’s three kids and the other kids living at the house … all over a stun gun.

Turns out Jermaine Jackson’s 13 year old son Jaafar purchased a stun gun three weeks ago online (with the intent of stunning Michael’s youngest son, Blanket), and it was delivered the house. Security promptly confiscated the weapon. According to her lawyer, Katharine Jackson (Michael’s mom, and the grandma of these boys) reportedly took possession of the gun, and locked it up.

Michael’s three children, along with some of their cousins all live in the house under the care of Katherine. DCFS paid another visit to the mansion today to conduct more interviews.

Even though Katherine claims to have locked the gun up, TMZ has confirmed that the children were actually in possession of the gun, and playing with it last week. Sources claim the gun was being played with on the second floor of the home. Security guards inside the house heard the commotion, but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Late last week, one of the security guards found the gun – and the children, and “stopped Jermaine’s kids from stunning Blanket.” The guard then took the gun.

DCFS confiscated one gun last night at 10:30PM, but according to TMZ’s sources, another gun remains on site. DCFS is returning to the house today.

Why Blanket skipped out on MJ’s Grammy tribute

paris-prince-michael-blanket

Two of Michael Jackson’s children, Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, accepted their late father’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys Sunday.

Where was 7-year-old Blanket?

Entertainment Tonight reports the boy “became overwhelmed” moments before he was about to go on stage, so he sat out.

He seemed more relaxed backstage as he posed with Lionel Richie.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Michael praised his late father: “Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love,” he said. “We will continue to spread his message and help the world.”

Paris told the audience, “We love you, Daddy.”

Jackson died last June at age 50 of acute propofol intoxication.

Dr. Conrad Murray to star in TV special?

dr-conrad-murray-tv-show

Despite being investigated for the death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray will star in his own, international reality TV show. The doc has collaborated with a British production company that shot footage of his return to practicing medicine on Nov. 23, TMZ reports.

The material was shot for an one-episode reality TV show, according to TMZ.

A spokesman for Murray told TMZ that the doctor was “interested in the reaction of patients to his return.”

The crew followed a day in the life of Murray, in the office and stopping by a church. Dr. Murray will get paid an unspecified amount once the special airs; however, the air date is not in the near future.

The doc is refusing to allow the company to air the project until the MJ investigation is complete, which can be years from now.

“Dr. Murray is currently working 12 hour days … to pay off his [child support] debt,” the spokesman told TMZ.

Wonder how the Jackson family — who has their own reality show, The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, on A&E — feels about this Murray’s TV Special?

Stalker targeted Michael Jackson with death threat

90626P2_JACKSON_B-GR_09

Even after his tragic death at age 50, the scandal that surrounded the life of the late Michael Jackson is still very much alive. Newly released FBI files reveal that a stalker, Frank Paul Jones, wrote a letter on July 6, 1992, threatening to kill Michael Jackson, and then-President George H.W. Bush, TMZ reports. “Michael [Jackson] I will personally attempt to kill, if he doesn’t pay me my money,” the person states in the letter released by FBI.

In regards to threatening the president, the crazed individual wrote, “I decided that because nobody is taking me serious, and I can’t handle my state of mind, that I am going to Washington D.C. to threaten to kill the President of the United States, George Bush.”

Jones was arrested on May 22, 1992 outside the White House, according to TMZ. He was released on June 4, 1992, and one day later made threats to kill Michael.

In at threatening letter to MJ he wrote, “I’ll commit mass murder at a Michael Jackson concert if necessary, in an attempt to murder Michael, then you will have to deal with my situation in the public eye.”

The death threat seemed to revolve around an unidentified female linked to MJ.

He said, “I’m 33 years old and never had a real relationship in my life. I can’t even slow dance.”

Many of the letters were written to local newspapers. The FBI says that Jones was charged with extortion, pled guilty and was sentenced to prison in 1993, according to TMZ.

Jones believed he was married to Janet Jackson, law enforcement sources told TMZ. Jones also made threats to kill Janet and even stalk the Jackson family home in Encino.

In the psychotic letters, Jones wrote “The situation … is centered around her confused sexuality.” He goes on to say if she does not “overcome” her issue over sexuality, “I’m gonna try to kill every homosexual on the face of the earth. If I can’t save my wife, they can’t be saved.”

Michael Jackson’s Kids To Appear In Reality Show‏

michael-jackson-kids.jpg

The Jacksons are at odds over the inclusion of Michael Jackson’s three children in an upcoming A&E reality show about the famous family, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue. A source tells Us Weekly the buzzed-about program will include Michael’s kids — Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 — though not everyone’s happy about it. Eldest sister Rebbie, 59, who has refused to be in the series (called The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, tentatively set to air in December), “feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show.” While Janet, 43, is on board, mom Katherine “is just going along with things,” the source continues. Still, one of the creators of the program — which will be either five one-hour episodes or 10 half-hour episodes — says the family shines on the series. “We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson,” executive producer Jodi Gomes tells Us Weekly. “They’ve done a great job opening up about losing a brother.” (A Jackson family rep couldn’t be reached.)
